Needed somewhere cost-effective for an overnight in Kamloops and stayed at the Travelodge. Clean rooms, excellent customer service and fairly quiet. We didn't end up using the pool, but it looked nice. Everything was very clean.
Breakfast is at a small cafe across the road and we ended up partly paying as the coupon was either for 2 eggs, bacon...

I booked 2 rooms in November for the Brier. The rates were great, the rooms were very clean and fresh. Every hotel should have a Kim on their staff. She was great and did everything she could to accommodate us. Even phoned me and thank me for sending her some peanut butter cookies our last night there. The breakfasts where... more
We had no reservation and just walked in. Check in was smooth and price was decent. Rooms were clean, and had everything we needed. It was a quick in, and out and i had no problems. Room size was decent.
I chose this hotel because it was close to downtown, my friend's home and the AMA rate was reasonable. I was happily surprised that the hotel, despite looking old on the outside has been nicely maintained and updated.
The room had a queen bed, table & chairs, a new television, a good sized fridge (not right down on the floor),...

Upon our arrival, my kids and I were exhausted from a long flight, the hotel allowed us to have an early check-in prior to making the reservation which at that point was greatly appreciated. About the staff, they were very knowledgeable and accommodating checking us in quickly and efficiently. After unpacking my kids decided to take advantage of the indoor... more
We never actually spent the night at the Travelodge in Kamloops, After checking in to our three rooms we found that one of them completely unacceptable. When we opened the door the room was hot humid and smelt like a dirty hamster cage that had been left in the sun. I promise you, that is not an exaggeration. Thinking that... more
My wife and I usually look for a basic clean place to spend the night when travelling. If we were looking for a 5 star hotel--we would stay at a hilton, marriot etc. We checked reviews on expedia before booking the hotel and were not sure what to do. We still booked the travelodge because there were still a lot... more
old and shoddy room with small bathroom, miniature towels, cheap shampoo and barely any toilet paper!Continental breakfast was 3$ off meal at very dirty "resteruant" Terrible value
This is a very clean and well located hotel. The service was very good. While staying there we visited the museums and walked to Victoria St, full of excellent restaurants and heritage homes there and around the area, close to the river and the park. Good breakfast at the diner next door. A typical old town diner with locals.
First experience was going online to get a reservation and the site had me leave my email for the hotel to get back with me on the quote. I was charged more for the room upon arrival and it took days to get that straightened out. Plus, a $100 hold was placed on my credit card, for a deposit which... more
This is a nice little hotel, clean, comfortable, pleasant desk staff. Located close to downtown, and amenities, including a coffee shop, a block and a half away, along Columbia St.
There's a nice pool and hot tub, which we didn't take advantage of, but likely will, if we're in Kamloops again, same with the Sleepy Diner breakfast. Staff are professional,...

The service from the staff was typical, and friendly. Beds were comfortable but the room appeared a little outdated.
A good convenient place to stay but definitely not in a corner room! Easily accessed from the highway
Had to come into Kamloops for the week, and I could't get a booking at the convention centre. Read the reviews on TA, booked online. What a great location. Four blocks from downtown, rooms were good ( a little dated, but fine) Staff were great. Even the little diner "Sleepy diner" associated with the property was good (real home cooked... more
We recently stayed at this hotel on a trip to Vancover. After a long day the desk staff checked us in and even gave us a suite. The rooms were nice and clean and well equiped. If I can give you a tip get a room on the top floor.Other than a little noise the hotel was easy to find and worth the... more
The staff was very nice and helpful.
The room was clean enough (there were a lot of spider webs on the walls and ceiling - which made me specifically anxious of spiders in the room...)
I am used to a super firm bed mattress so the beds in the room did not fit me at all. The mattress was too...

We stayed at the Travelodge for one night on our way to Whistler and were extremely happy. The hotel was clean, quiet, bed was comfy and the room had both a fridge and microwave. Perfect stay while passing through Kamloops.
was here for about a week, the staff and manager were great!! Parking was good, cleaning staff always pleasant and room was always very clean, will stay again when passing thru, location is really good, no issues with the noise levels here
Terrific downtown location offers a excellent base to walk the restaurant rich area. The rooms were clean and fresh with new bedding to match. Ample parking and an indoor pool. The pool had too much chlorine and it bleached my bathing suit. Sara at the front desk was fantastic providing excellent information and after asking about available rooms, was the... more
Hotel Location Great but room was in need of refurburshing! Stained Carpets, Cracked Sink. On the positive side, comfortable bed, general cleanliness good.
Just booked this great little Travelodge for a third stay in Kamloops at the end of June for the July 1 long weekend. Our first two visits were stop overs on a trip to Radium Hot Springs in May so that we could visit with our son and my wife's brother and his family. Newly refurbished from top to bottom,... more
Great location to hospital - 7 min. walk - and to downtown. Comfortable, clean rooms. Rates a bit high.
We stayed here while my husband was in the hospital. Nice clean rooms, quiet and the little restaurant offered a free breakfast for us, It was pretty good. Quaint. Service was good. Hope the next time we visit is on better terms :) Thanks.
Room was clean and quit, even though there was a couple Lacrosse Teams staying at the same time. Enjoyed the stay and would stay again.
I was a bit hesitant about choosing a motel but I am glad I booked the Travelodge. The staff was super friendly & accomodating, the rooms were very clean & spacious (I am a very clean person), and the breakfast at Sleepy's Diners was delicious. The kids enjoyed the pool which gave off a very spa feel which we really... more
Overall a decent hotel experience. Traffic noise was a little loud, many cars and trucks with loud exhaust going by but was quieter through the night. Lights above the beds were blindingly bright, fridge was loud at night, pool was small, shallow and very salty-burned the eyes. These are all minor problems in my opinion and I would stay here... more
We arrived in Kamloops on a cold, snowy night for our son's hockey game. Check in was fast and the front desk attendant was friendly and accommodating. Our room was toasty warm! The room was spotlessly clean and we heard no road traffic! The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and very fast! Breakfast was absolutely amazing!! Thank you Travelodge... more
Very convenient short walk to downtown. Room looked decent, but could be better (cracked sink, etc). Not the quietest (walls a little thin and a bit of traffic noise), but overall it was decent. Would stay in again for the price.
Very excellent hotel , Everything was clean and nice , I enjoyed staying there ,They have secure parking with cameras so i didn't worry too much about my expensive tools in the car , Staff was very helpful and nice (Kam) they were quickly and efficient , I always put a towel on my pillow , but in this hotel... more
Well we arrived in Kamloops around 7:00 pm, and after an hour of searching we finally found a hotel that had a smoking room available! The customer service was excellent!

Stayed in the Travelodge in Kamloops due to the fact that it is right across the street from the hospital. The staff was very good and room was clean. Stayed with you last year, had great room and service so chose you again this year, across the street from hospital which I needed to go to every day and bonus breakfast.
Not the hotel's fault but two nights in Kamloops was at least one night too many. Nothing wrong and despite on a main road, quiet. Bonus was the swimming pool and breakfast. A lighting problem was quickly sorted out by staff.
Requires proper signage for the handicapped parking area. Also, I presented my rewards card when I was checking in but was told they only accept them when checking out. I forgot to do this and did not receive any points. This is the second time this has happened to me. WHEN CHECKING OUT THE STAFF SHOULD ASK IF YOU HAVE... more
Close to hospital, walking distance to town. Nice rooms, friendly staff and relaxing hot tub. Would stay here again as the price is right and rooms recently renovated.
Everything was great had no problems with anything. The front staf and cleaning staff were very freindly.
Staff were very positive and pleasant. Vwery respectful to all guests. The staff in the restaurant were especially gracious to guests
Room was very noisy - airconditioner and traffic noises. We were right on the corner of the main intersection. Street light glow could be seen around drapes.
New LCD tvs have just been installed.
Security snib on door was broken
Breakfast included was simple but good - bacon and eggs and drink.
Ok for 1 night as we were passing...

We asked for a non-smoking room, and didn't get it. We immediately went down to the front desk and after a bit of discussion we received a much nicer and non-smelly room with a duvet. However, we discovered burns on the fairly new carpet and drapes (??) The TV wouldn't work, and we had to call the front desk for... more
I was extremely impressed with this hotel. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the a/c unit was working (something essential when staying in Kamloops). There was only a shower (no problem) and there was adequate pressure and hot water. The staff were friendly, helpful and informed about the city.
The only complaint I have is with the wireless...

We booked this hotel based on the pictures on the website which showed flat screen televisions and beds with duvets. My husband, 20y/o son and I stayed here last night. Overall, everything was fine. reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room spotless and well set up. When our mother was transferred from 100 Mile House to Kamloops for surgery to repair her broken hip it was very stressful on everyone. Much better than the average priced motel room. Very clean. 35 inch flat screen TV.
The free breakfast was very nice and poached egg exactly what I asked for. Would certainly stay again. Across the street from Hospital, where we had to be early in the A.M.
Stayed here for 1 night and on arrival the exterior was daunting. It looks unloved and there are maintenance requirements to the structure since you can see cracks in the roof in the area directly above the lobby.
The room itself was very spacious with spotless, comfortable beds and a good bathroom.
There did not appear to be much in...
