Good, Exactly what I needed. Simply needed a place to stay passing through, and it was perfect.
Room was good - not exceptional but good - look like there may be mold forming in bathroom but not 100% sure. Was disappointed in breakfast. I arrived 50 min before the close of the breakfest. There was very little to choose from and two of the hot dishes were empty. Front staff was very good, friendly etc.
Just a great experience and the front office and check in was as good as it could be, nice breakfast as well
We booked into the Travelodge, Brockville as our usual hotel was booked for the night. Never again! The bed was soft and lumpy. The pillows were rock hard. The AC was loud. And, the walls paper thin.....you could hear the external noise of the 401 and all of the internal human traffic as well. It was like sleeping in a dorm room. This hotel needs some serious updating. Oh, there was no tub... more
We stay at travelodge for one night in Brockville. I have to say the room was pretty decent for the price we paid. Had a small fridge and good channels on TV. Hotel staff was ok. I did not like the beds though as I felt the sheets were not too soft. Very close to the grocery store, restaurant and the other attractions. I might stay in the hotel again if I go to Brockville.
Was inexpensive and good enough. Decent bed. Older and simple but still clean. Free wifi and breakfast. Based on low fee its worth staying.
The room was clean, however, the smoking smell was bad, The hotel require remove the old carpet and any curtain that keep that bad odor. The breakfast was mediocre, the orange juice machine was out of service and the lady that attend the breakfast area was missing on attention, do not have milk neither eggs, when we ask for milk and eggs the attitude from her was like she was frustrated or with... more
the bed was very uncomfortable stayed 1 time before and it was ok but would probably not stay here again.
The room was clean but looked a little tired. Needs some updating in the rooms and the lobby and halls. The room smelled strongly of air freshener like trying to mask an unpleasant odour. Sink and shower appear old and worn out.
It was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay again.
I have stayed at far better hotels for the same price. The room was tiny, beds were uncomfortable and the fridge was dirty and old, but it worked. The "hot breakfast" is just a basic continental.
Overall we had a great stay room was clean & staff was very friendly would stay at Travelodge in Brockviile On again
This was our first stay in this hotel and we stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is located near a major highway however the room is remarkably quiet. The room was very comfortable and well maintained. Our room included a small fridge and a microwave oven. Car parking is free and the complimentary breakfast was much better than we expected. There are a few restaurants nearby as well as a grocery... more
Surprised to see twin beds...who has those anymore? Room was small, dated. The gentleman who checked us in was fine, there was another staff member who thought it appropriate to talk down to this gentleman in front of customers...very unprofessional. I won't stay here again.
Customer service & room were very good. Would recommend it to others
Room smelled strongly of smoke, dirty and stained carpet, cigarette burns in comforter, mould in bathroom, furniture cracking. Breakfast was ok. Could hear highway as windows wouldn't shut properly. Was last room available so couldn't switch.
We were to spend 2 nights in the Brockville Travelodge as we waited for our moving truck to arrive. However, after one night, neither of us could face the room again, so we checked out. The sheets were clean, but the bathroom certainly was not, and the "breakfast" that was included was totally pathetic. I would certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone - there are others that are right close... more
We were celebrating our anniversary. We enjoyed the Farmer's Market in Brockville. A 1000 Island boat tour. We enjoyed great food and touring around.
We arrived on a late check-in and were looking forward to getting some sleep. When we pulled back the sheets, we found a bug in our bed. The front desk staff did not offer to move us to another room. However they did say they would change the bedding and thoroughly clean the room in the morning.
I had car problems and the nice staff packed up my things so a friend could bring them home to me. They treated my possessions with the utmost care. That was very appreciated, they could have simply thrown everything into the suitcase.
Facility was so close to a major highway (401) that we heard the traffic all night long. room was exceptionally dirty with the washroom floor covered with visible dirt. Air conditioner would continually cut out and never reached a cool temp. Walls are paper thin and you can hear conversations through out the entire floor. Combine this with the constant slamming of doors it was not a restful night.
I arrived late (10:00PM), checkin was ok. When I went to room air conditioning was broken & carpet was very old. I will not stay here again!
We were travelling for a wedding. The hotel was fine, just a couple of hiccups. 1- no where did the ad tell is to request a room with a bathtub (we were traveling with a 3 year old that does not like showers) 2-after 3 trips to the front desk about the a/c we gave up trying to get it working. Maitenance guy even admitted the units are outdated and need to be replaced. 3-budget ample time to get... more
we had to use two different remotes to operate the television.
The bed was a little uncomfortable and there was a smoky kind of smell. Not happy.
Room was dirty in places (carpet and around shower enclosure in particular). Part of heater/AC cover was missing. Ceiling lighting a little dim - a bedside lamp would have helped. Evidence of other changes were seen - for example a hole left in the desk from some previous re-wiring. Not for business travelers.
It was ok. Didn't know there was an extra charge for pets. Not mentioned on the site where I booked through. Heard voices throughout the night and a car alarm went off in the wee hours of the morning right outside my window. So not a restful sleep but not bad as a stay before my destination.
It was clean and the bed was comfortable. I stayed for business and it suited my needs.
For an older building the Inn was very clean. Flat screen new TV was clear and nice to watch. No bath tub but the Shower was new. Small Bar Fridge clean and very convenient to keep our drinks cold. Liked that they had a Double and Twin bed combination. Lots of light in the room with different switches for controlled lighting. My only complaint is no real glassware, older coffee maker and slow... more
older hotel, very clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Room clean with comfortable bed. Breakfast varied and fresh, good coffee! No elevator so recommend 1st floor if lots of luggage. Recommend it for the price, quite good.
Great cost effective short stay. Late check in was available and I was able to checkin quickly after a long drive. Shower head had multispray setting but would have preferred a basic shower head as this was very low quality. Room was clean and in order. Only complaint was remote for tv was dirty but this is the case for many hotels. Checkout was equally quick. Will stay again.
The hotel atmosphere & environment itself was fine; however I was awaken around after 3 or 4 in the morning by loud banging every couple seconds. That loud banging continued for about an hour. I had to actually ask my husband to go talk to the reception desk person, and then the guy got up to see where the banging was coming from. This was very inconvenience and an uncomfortable experience... more
Construction next door at the Comfort Inn. Carpet in room had two large oil/soot stains. Overall, OK for the price.
This place was perfect for a quick stop over. I just needed a place to sleep and Travelodge offered just that. It was clean and comfortable, although old and starting to fall into disrepair... more
Nothing special but was resonably priced and located
Overpriced for quality great location but much better hotels in same area
Wonderfully peaceful hotel, although it was booked solid you did not hear any notice. Great sleeping conditions and calm atmosphere to unwind. Will return again.
Comfortable, clean place to spend a night
The hotel is ok for a one-night stay. All we needed was a place to shower and sleep for one night. Complimentary breakfast was good. One of the key reasons we chose this motel was free Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, we did not get the Wi-Fi to work and was too much a pain to call an outside 1-800 number for assistance. Probably will not go back again because internet was important while we are travelling.
Mildew at top of walls in bathroom. Corrosion around shower pivot. Dirty free shampoo bottle on sink with soap.
The girl that checked us in was more than helpful. I was not aware that we did not get a tub in our room but she did everything in her power to get us a room with a tub because I was disable. There was another counter person that was not so pleasant with us because she did that. Overall we were happy with our stay
I've stayed in this hotel twice. Once in a non smoking room and once in a smoking room. The non smoking room was fabulous. The smoking room needs to be updated. The shower head was a bit to be desired. Need a better device. Didn't seem as clean as the non smoking room. The housekeeping staff was great but not enough staff to get the rooms done at a decent time. We left our room for a couple of... more
