Reliably Good Food, Great Service

We have dinned at the Three Kretans at least a half a dozen times, and yet each time the service is great, the food is hot and fresh!

Satisfying Greek Food

Friendly servers, generous portions, authentic Greek food. The Avgolemono soup is lovely and their tzatziki sauce goes very nicely with the souvlaki. The dessert selection looks very good, though I've never had enough room left to try it!

It's nice that they offer you a small souvlaki (exchange fries for potatoes for an additional $1). Even though it was a small, the portion was definitely enough for a meal. Authentic Greek at its finest!! Fantastic food and if you are going to the Centre in the Square, you let them know.....they make sure you don't miss the show..........PLUS you can park there, for no fee!! Perfect evening!!

I work downtown and my boss took me here for a meeting. I had never visited or heard of the place. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Great Time Had

Went on Saturday...my family and I generally go once every couple months...very consistant taste and service. Chicken Souvlaki and Moussaka are our favourites.

Family night

this place serves up a great atmosphere - its not pretentious. Its simply great food served hot and with pleasant service. Our kids love the place.

Disappointing

Been a few times because of closeness to the theatre. Tasteless every time... didn't believe how little flavour the Moussaka had. I've been to Greece and the food does not come close to being authentic, other then by having similar items on the menu.

We travelled to Kitchener for three reasons; The Frederic St Inn, The Kriskindle Market and The Three Kretans...none of them let us down, but this review is for The Three Kretans!

very good prices and portions for lunch. Owner (young tall greek guy) is always extremely friendly. That passes down to his staff. Calamari is best in town. I can't remember all the proper names for their dishes but all the authentic greek dishes are fantastic. I wish they weren't in a basement but they keep it bright with traditional greek... more

KW is lacking in proper Greek restaurants. I think it's because nobody in their right mind would try to compete with Three Kretans.

Not as good as advertised

I went there for a take out and tried their pork soulvaki. I was able to eat just one piece of meat, it was not delicious at all. The rest ended up in the garbage.Looks like some of the reviewers never tried European cuisine if they think this place has the best Greek food.

I have also been to this place - quite a few times now and I agree that the food is amazing and the service is always good. Obviously the owners have a passion for what they do.

Took my girlfriend there for a romantic dinner - she loves Greek food. We had such a great time. The food was amazing, the place is very cute, and the service was seamless. Great job Three Kretans, we are looking forward to bringing some friends the next time we dine!

We deceded to try this place before heading to the Centre in the Square to see Blue Rodeo and it was so busy! We never thought to make reservations, but the owner was so nice and was able to move some of the tables around to accommodate us. The food was delicious- nice portions. I can't comment on most of the menu items because I always order the same thing spanakopita to start, gyro dinner as my meal, and backlava for dessert! There's nothing super fancy with the food presentation or restaurant decor, but the food has always been tasty and very filling, and the service is consistantly good. If you're looking for a casual family dining spot, this place fits the bill.

I love this place. I always try something different, and there has not been one thing that I haven't enjoyed off the menu yet! They make such amazing food and you can tell that the staff and owners really care for their customers. Well done!

Wow! Great Greek Food!

Went for the first time a few months back becuase it came highly reccommended by my boss. He was right. It was so good. It’s a very nice place, the owners are friendly and the service was excellent. On all my visits, I have never been dissappointed. It is now one of my favourite places to eat. OPA!
