Came here once for breakfast with my fiancé after church and it was not good.
The interior looked pretty cool and exactly like a traditional diner. However, we both thought the breakfast was extremely oily and greasy. You could see the film and puddles of oil on your plate; as well, they heavily butter your toast.
Definitely will not go...

We love to come here for weekend breakfast with the kids. Service is efficient, place is small but we have always been lucky and have not had to wait very long for a table. The meals are filling and very reasonable and it's always a hoot to pick an old tune on from the tables jukeboxes.
I have been here a few times and it has improved recently. My meal was the corned beef on rye. The bread was fresh and the beef was moist. The other meal was French Toast; tasted like it was made at home. This is a good classic diner. A good place to eat and good value for your money.
this place is nasty, i come to eat with my husband , and the waiter started ftalking to my husband, in a different way, until one day i come home and i found her in my bedroom of my house, this woman name is lina calabrese, now she is in sutton , ontario , for sure destroying another marriage, watchout... more
In business since 1955, and looks it too (compliment!). This is the perfect place for breakfast, delicious home fries. And reasonably priced. Simply a comfortable place for a meal.
With the owner at the controls 7 days a week, this diner pumps out the food on time. I have been coming here for about 3 years and it seems like the best diner in downtown Richmond Hill. Sometimes... more
A quaint little diner, especially suited for breakfast. The decore is out of the 50's, red vinyl chrome chairs, checkerboard tiles, etc. The food is ample and cooked to perfection and the coffee cup is overflowing. There is parking out back with a back entrance. Parking on Yonge Street is limited.
We started eating at 3 Coins when we first moved to the area in February.
It's definitely a 50's/60's diner...small, simple but great service and down-home basic diner food for great value and taste. I like the atmosphere with the music boxes, diner seating & tables and the open grill.

great place for breakfast. Booths with music player great retro feel.
Good basic breakfast food that takes you back to grandma's kitchen.
A very basic greasy-spoon open kitchen that serves good food
If its old diner atmosphere you like this is the place. May not have been renovated since the 50's. Reliable diner food cooked at an open grill on the main street of old Richmond HIll.
After hearing that this was where the locals go: hockey moms, retirees, long-time residents, I was dying to see this greasy spoon. We had what must have been the breakfast special but the title was whited-out on the menu. I think they must have had a special price that was lower than the $6.50 which was marked in another section... more
Traditional all day breakfast in one of the timeless fixtures of historic downtown Richmond Hill. Ownership has changed, atmosphere hasn't. Prices are good. Nothing fancy, just exactly what you'd expect. -- Hugh Gamble
old time retro feel and all day breakfast...where to go when you need a "diner" experience
Morning after breakfast... just the right amount of bacon and eggs to kill the night before's stuff.
I had 2 hungry kids and 1 hungry me and this diner was on my route so I thought “why not”. The decor is classic 50s diner and my kids got to learn what a table-side jukebox was and how old (“as old as papa”).; that was enough to keep them occupied until the food showed. The decor is not the best eye candy ever (a bit rundown diner) and the washrooms I would skip if you could (not so friendly... more
Great breakfast featuring pea meal bacon (Canadian bacon to some but now rolled in corn meal). Sort of a institution in that area. Nothing fancy about it but extremely busy. If you like a great breakfast in an no-frills-diner it's your kind of place! Haven't been lately but sure wish it was in my neighbourhood. ka
