The dark light, punkish art and gallery sized pieces at affordable prices makes this gallery in the Distillery district a permanent temptation whenever I visit Toronto. The work of Yoakim Bellangier - who paints his thoughtful reflections on figure, gender and age on sheet metal - is a particular reason I keep returning.
Attended a big group business dinner here. Venue has potential with interesting artwork. Initially things were good. Plenty of servers tending to get folks drinks. NEVER book anything at the Thompson Landry Gallery or Cooperage Building. We planned our wedding there For over $6K just for the space and they had a hideous Moose head on a cross with it's antlers covered with barbs presented at the alter just 2 weeks before our wedding and wanted to charge us $350 to remove it. We just got back from our 2+ weeks in Italy...it was a fantastic honeymoon and we are still reeling from the fun we had at our wedding that was executed so well by you and your staff! We came home to a deluge of emails and messages from our guests that had an amazing time, and who LOVED the food!! Truly an amazing job!
