I really wanted to give this place a good review because some of the staff are amazing BUT there are just too many wrongs here. The breakdown is as follows:

We booked this place during our visit to Toronto. It was on sale, lower price comparing to other similar chains.

After having a terrible experience a day before in Ottawa, this hotel felt like a paradise. Nice and clean rooms. Also rooms were pretty big. Great shower, nice tv and good view was enough to make us pleased.

The hotel needs major renovation. Hallways carpeting, elevators are outdated and old. The lobby looks nice, however, it is deceiving once you get to the elevator and your floor. It should be 3 stars not 5 stars

Westin Always Pleases Us

Great as usual, but two issues: 1) Guests SHOULD NOT have to pay for parking, and 2) Cheap hotels somehow are able to provide unlimited internet, but somehow you better ones can't? Clear that up; guests get unquestioned, high-speed internet without fiddling around, please. Otherwise, we'll be back.

What we needed

Needed a last minute booking for an overnight stay. Late check-in. Crib. King bed was good. Room clean. Crib setup. No problems, slept well.

Nice clean room, friendly staff. Not the nicest of the Westin hotels, but good value for your money if you get a good deal on the room. Quick airport pickup, and the shuttle leaves the hotel to go to the airport every 30 minutes. A nice stay overall.

Went down to the pool for a sw and hot tub p wait there is no hot tub and the pool was green on the bottom . No sure how this is rated a 4 star. Will not return.

Nice hotel, but really what are you paying for?

Make sure you are early for the shuttle. We got there right at 0500 and it had already left (even though we were told it was leaving at 0500) We had already given up our rental car cause we didn't want to have to pay the $18 parking you have to pay at the hotel so we ended up having to take a cab to make sure we had ample time for our flight.

Definitely a 4.5 star experience. The room had a spacious bathroom complete with a waterfall shower head and branded toiletries.

I got to the hotel and it said valet service when I ask the woman at reception she told me I had to park my car myself and carry my lugged to my room. I had to call to have them clean my room and also they could not book me in for an extra day. Very bad overall experience at a so call high end hotel.

Not what we expected.

Hotel close to the airport. Facility old; hotel could do with an update - carpets, cleaning carts randomly left, mildew in bathroom, smoky/stale smell when you return to the room. No microwave and internet in the room. Internet is available, but at a price.

Needs a deep clean and renovation

Simply not at Westin standards. Beyond the lobby, everything from the elevator onwards is heavily worn and/or damaged. The carpets are stained and coming up at the sides. Affordable night's stay.......

This hotel offers an affordable night's stay. The check-in process was quick, the beds were comfortable and there was an ample supply of towels. Unfortunately, we were placed on the third floor next to the pool. The hallways were extremely loud with children and their families visiting the pool until it closed at 11:00 pm.

This is a clean and nice hotel with free parking for up to 15 days! The shuttle is easy to use to get back and forth to the airport. The staff is friendly. It is within easy walk of a couple of other restaurants if you want to eat outside of the hotel. I would recommend it!

We had the privilege of experiencing the Westin Bristol during our Mary Kay Seminar again this year and it was again an awesome experience. Dirty and worn property

Stayed one night and I swear I was in a 30 year old Holiday Inn. Property hallways have worn and dirty carpets, torn and filthy wall paper, elevators that are so worn that the control buttons are illegible, and a cliental (seemingly catered to by the hotel) that redefines the word obstreperous. Worst Westin I have seen.

Convenient

Quick stop here with the family as passing through the city for just one night. Staff nice, polite, check in and check out was quick. Room was fine and comfy. The place is a bit old and could do with a refurb and the airport shuttle takes sometime but other than that it is perfectly fine to stay here.

I stay here at the westin rather frequently, and am always very happy with their bright, spacious rooms, and helpful, courteous staff. The rates are pretty reasonable considering the proximity to the airport and the quality of the rooms and overall hotel experience. I will certainly be back again.

It was it very good experience and I have fun at that place as well but the only thing that I didn't like it is the room close to the elevator which is little bit noisy especially after mid-night.

There was a bad odor when I stepped into the room. The green room carpet is very very old. Did not have card for tv channels. The tv junction box was broken and appeared bad(rm 814). I stayed here for three nights in June for meetings. The property was comfortable, the staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food -- particularly the catering -- was excellent. Overall it was a great stay. Kudos to the staff for outstanding work!

Courteous, Efficient Staff; Great Food

This does not seem like a stereotype airport hotel at all. The facilities are beautiful. The food is enticingly presented and extremely yummy. Fresh flowers adorn every nook and cranny. And the staff is courteous, kind, efficient and charming. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that they are well-paid unionized Steelworkers.

Arrived Tired and was taken care of

I arrived after a 15 hour delay, it was 2 am and I was exhausted. The guy behind the desk, Lucky, could clearly see the frustration written all over my face made my check in process seamless, plus he gave me a complimentary breakfast - which is more than the airline who delayed me all day provided.

Pretty good - no major complaints

We've used this hotel a couple of times now when flying out from Pearson Airport. The hotel is clean. The shuttle service was great. The hotel is being renovated. This should have been informed at the time by my travel agent. Over $200/night was totally unjustifiable given the condition of the Hotel. Had a simple hamburger with fries and a beer in the hotel restaurant; it took me and my friend 30 minutes to get our food :-( The price I paid was probably the highest I have ever paid for similar food: burger $14, fries an extra $4 (!!!!) and one beer $11 (!!!) for a total of $35 including taxes. Great business stay

Staff was attentive. Beds were amazing , so comfortable! Food was great-fresh fruit options and buffet service daily during breakfast allows the business traveler on a time crunch to move quickly through the breakfast line. Dinner options were good enough that you don't have to leave the hotel. It was my first stay at this hotel and I will return.
