Policy" over People makes for bad customer service

The company I work for booked me into this hotel through an online service. The room was paid in full for the night. The statement from the online service said that nothing else was needed. The only additional cost or requirement was if you had pets.

Extremely Friendly Atmosphere

very nice- good location
March 14, 2014Clean rooms, very friendly & polite front desk staff. Enjoyed convenience of the Keg for dinner. My only issue was a few loud neighbors...which I just put up with (evening & morning). But the cleaning staff knocking on doors around 7am was a bit unwelcome. Not all of us have to be up and out of the room by 7-8am.... more

Very accomidateing
February 13, 2014This hotel is one of the better hotels i have ever stayed in. The housekeepers an the people that work at the front are so nice an very helpful. The rooms are very clean, Lots of tv channels to choose from an very comfy beds. And i love that the washers an dryers are free.

Ridiculously expensive

Great Stay
August 15, 2013Stayed here for a month for work, great friendly service and clean rooms. There is also a great little bar down stairs to unwind. It would be nice to have a hot tub or pool but oh well... All in All, great place to stay.

Comfortable 9 day stay

dirty and poorly kept
June 24, 2013Stayed seven nights. Worked until 4 PM each day. Each day returned to the room and maid had not done the room yet. Entire place smells like smoke, even my nonsmoking room. Week stay
January 22, 2013Had to find a place for a week after having to move out. Price was very good and found room very clean and staff very friendly. Had a great stay and would stay there again if I needed a place. Would recommend a stay there if needed a good price and comfortable stay.

Decent, friendly staff, clean

Prices are not horrendous (for Ft. Mac), and complimentary continental is satisfactory.
Mattress was better than normal at a hotel. Room was also a good size. It is basic in many ways, but like another reviewer said, we were pleasantly surprised.
By the way, the front desk and housekeeping staff were extremely friendly and hospitable.
Would stay here again!

Great price for an average stay gives 4/5

I spent a week in this hotel last year and enjoyed it. The suite contained a fridge and microwave, large desk for getting work done, and ugly furniture. I slept fine and didn't miss it.
Cleanliness was fine. The continental breakfast was filling but uninspired. Parking was free, as well as the internet, but they didn't have WIFI, just hard...
