It used to be good then they moved the huge spread up the few steps to a smaller area. Something was missing. It just didn't feel like a buffet anymore but simply, a dessert table. I can't believe that the River Rock casino had a better dessert area and their buffet sucked.

Good idea, but unfortunately, poor execution.

The quality of most of the desserts equals what you could get at Save-on Foods or the IGA next door. For $30 a person, we expected high quality chocolate (including hard chocolates) and a much wider variety.

Definitely a fun experience ! So many choices of chocolate...

Cakes, cheesecakes, fondue, pecan pies, cream puffs, crepe station, ice cream... Every dessert lovers dream! For the price you'd have to eat a lot for it to be fully worth it and I'm not sure it's possible because you go on major chocolate overload!

I've binged here many times before starting as a young child. Over the years, the quality of the food-spread has diminished and seems less. Or maybe I just got bigger and we all know that when you are bigger things around you seem smaller. Something like that.

At $28 per person (not including taxes and tips), you would expect a spectacular chocolate buffet, but don't get your hopes up too high. The crepes were delicious and you get a choice of different flavoured sorbets or icecreams. The chocolate selection was okay, although some of the cakes weren't as good as I was hoping.

Pricey but good value for money. Most amazing decadent sinful buffet of flavorful yumminess. I went here for my birthday last year - consumed several million calories - and loved every single moment of it.

The crepes are terrible. The crepe itself is of poor quality and they only serve them plain, they will not put topping in it while it's cooking as is done with proper crepes. Instead they ask you to put toppings on yourself.

None of the cakes were any good. They hardly have a better selection than what is available at Sunday brunch there anyway.

I felt this needed it's own listing. While it is IN the Sutton Place Hotel, all the other reviews are more regarding the hotel as a hotel - somewhere to stay the night.

The Chocoholic Buffet deserves it's own individual mention. It's on only Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, and it's the most decadent thing I've ever seen.
