Good location, Avis right downstairs.
I spent one night here on a romantic weekend with my boyfriend. We indulged in the chocolate buffet which was delicious and also enjoyed the complimentary spa package in conjunction with Eveline Charles which was really fun and relaxing. The room itself was really fresh, clean and modern with a very comfortable king size bed. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying in Edmonton.
EXCELLENT SERVICE My family had traveled to Edmonton with me while I was on conference. We had left a garage door opener with a relative to house sit while we were gone, and feed the dog and cat. The garage door opener did not work, and we were worried about our pets. My wife called the concierge to get a phone number, and directions to the greyhound bus depot to send a key down to our relative... more
Several times now I have had horrible service and unmemorable, but high priced meals in the lounge. It's consistently bad. The pool is complicated to get to. The rooms need updating. You can do much better in downtown Edmonton.
Edmonton is a great city and this hotel is wonderful. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I will be staying here again.
I've stayed here twice and the most impressive thing about the hotel is it's service. They go above and beyond on any request.
This hotel was a great value for the money! Located in the heart of downtown, on a cool autumn day I didn't even need to put a jacket on to enjoy shopping in the core, as it's conveniently connected to the pedway system. The room was excellent, large, clean, and quiet. I happened to arrive at a particularly busy time, but the staff expediciously handled all the guests checking in in a timely... more
Hotel was nice. Room was clean. It is not a super fancy hotel no concerns about the room. Would stay there again next time.
I arrived at the front desk and they didn't have any record of my reservation. [...]. It took me over a half hour to get this straightened out and was a complete pain in the... I then checked in and had no internet access in my room. WIFI is horrible in this hotel (particularly on the 26th floor). I then tried the WIFI in the lobby and it was lousy as well. I literally had to plug my... more
The Sutton Place Edmonton was a great choice for its proximity to the Edmonton City Centre complex. It's connected via pedway to the complex, which means you don't have to go outside. The room was very comfortable and the staff were helpful. There's no gym in the hotel, but as a hotel guest you get a preferred rate at the gym in the attached complex. Only downside was the walls seemed a... more
We recently spent several days in Edmonton and stayed at The Sutton Place. Very pleasant stay- hotel is well located; staff was always helpful; the restaurant service was exceptional; our room was fresh and well appointed and as I am something of a bargain shopper- the parking fee was much lower than comparable hotels in the area. Access to the garage was right through the lobby, very... more
Everything good except that the parking is too expensive.
Ideal location in the heart of Edmonton. Connected to a shopping mall with lots to offer. Parking isn't an issue if you don't mind paying extra...fairly reasonable. Tons of restaurants nearby...farmer's market on Saturday.
it was great i will stay there every time i go to edmonton now
Bright, clean rooms, helpful accommodating staff.
Very well appointed, beds were great but the staff were a little surly.
We would recommond this hotel as an acceptable and fairly economical hotel in downtown Edmonton. It is not the place for a special occasion or vacation ( ie. not a resort or a destination property) but if one is just looking for a decent place to sleep, it was good value . It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The linens were nice, except for one very thin, worn-out pillow. The staff... more
I would recommend the the Sutton Place Hotel Edmonton. The location is excellent and the price was definitely right. It is a bare bones hotel - no luxuries at all, but it is clean and relatively new and well-kept. Very good value for money and it met my expectations.
Would most certainly recommend it to others. The room was very comfortable and clean ,the restaurant meals were great. This is the second time we have stayed at this Hotel and we think it is good value for money. The staff are very friendly and they all looked after us well. We arrived early and they said they would bring forward the preparation of our room and have it ready in 45 minutes,... more
Staff were great nut I received a smoking room when I do not smoke. Hotel could not change.
