Great Burger

We had lunch at the Leeky Canoo and enjoyed it! The burgers were great!! We also had vegetables which were really delicious!

Great wings! Food is delicious

Great place to go for wings, other food good too. We have eaten here many times. Can get very busy and sometimes you have to wait a bit to get table but worth wait.

Great Atmosphere, great food

The Pub is a great place to eat and very popular. The food was really good and the service excellent. The mudslide cocktail/dessert is delicious. Loads of things to chose from on the menu.
If we were staying in the area we would certainly go there again.

local, very good food

We are locals who visit the leeky canoe as a family. There is usually a lineup but never having to wait for more than 45 minutes. The food is excellent and there is a large selection of food. Local watering hole, amazing food and service

Very comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. The food was fantastic and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Great place for families and friends, whether you are looking for a quick lunch or a place to hang out for some drinks and great eats, this is the place to go in Meaford.

Delicious

We came here to get a quick lunch and left with full bellies. Sumac was our waitress and was on top of everything. She cracked a few jokes that got us laughing too. Great place! Wish we lived closer so we could visit more ofter. Food was different and delicious.

Good food, big menu

We enjoyed the fish and chips, veggie burger with a side caesar and a half order of nachos. The veggie burger was delicious, with both a veggie patty and a grilled portabello. The half order of nachos was more than enough for two of us to split as an app. We'll return!

Great Leek Soup but not a lot variety for Gluten Free

We went for lunch. Food was very good. Leek soup was great with cheese and croutons on top (think French Onion with Leeks instead of onions). Wonderful Hot Apple Cider on a rainy cool day in July. Been here only once even though I live in Meaford. The food was good - a chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. The service was average not good not bad.

I Want to Go Back

I had the chicken pot pie and it was great! The waitresses at the bar were friendly...that's where we sat until our table was ready. Towards the end of our meal I took a coughing fit and left...so I'm looking forward to the next time. Thanks for the memories. It's good to know you're there. Excellent Food and Service

We ate here on Sat. and loved it. My husband really enjoyed the fish and chips and I had the best sweet potato fries ever. The service was also excellent. I would definitely go back to this restaurant if I am in the area again.

Leaky Canoe

As a local, I quite enjoy a meal out at the Leaky Canoe and enjoy its fun pub atmosphere however for reasons of his own, my husband has now refused to go there any more. The menu offers a huge selection of dishes. There is something for every palette.

Good lunch

My husband and I frequently share and an appetizer and a lunch. We are never disappointed with the quantity or quality of the food we get. The service is also always friendly and timely. A good choice for a casual, low key lunch.

Winter 2014

As we were staying at the Hilltop Motel, which does not have a restaurant, we had to walk into Meaford and have dinner at The Leeky Canoe. Our meal was good, fresh and plentiful. The service was excellent and very small town friendly. A good choice on any day.

Leeky Canoe Delivers

The Leeky Canoe Pub has good food and plenty of it. The staff are pleasant and friendly. The only down side I can see is the dim lighting. The restaurant is very dark and like a previous reviewer outlined it can sometimes be hard to see.

Excellent Date Night Dinner

Fabulous pub fare, awesome wait staff, quick service. We are locals and love this establishment. Went on Thursday night for 2-4-1 burger deal. So for 2 glasses of wine, iced tea, burger and fries, and dessert.....Bill was $37! Great night out!

Most filling wings

Nice service. The wings were great, nicely spiced and especially filling! Even leftover a day later they were good. A great place to go.

We had a good lunch in this out-of-the-way hole-in-the-wall hangout: hamburger with mounds of fries, fish and chips, chicken wrap all prepared with panache. This is the place to stop if you are in the area.

A pub with a great location in Meaford

We went to this pub for lunch on a weekday. The staff is friendly and attentive. We prefer to sit in the front as it is usually quieter than the back of the pub. The menu has enough variety and the food is hot, good, and plentiful. A solid good choice for Meaford.

Friendly, pub like atmosphere- good food

We (family of 5 plus three other family members) ate at the Leeky Canoe Pub this spring following a day on the Bruce Trail. We were hungry and we were quite anxious to have something substantive and good for dinner. This was a fun spot, great food, friendly service and just the ticket for an after hike meal.

The best part of our trip

We have been having lunch on and off here for the past five years. This is the highlight of our cycling trips between Meaford and Collingwood. The food is hot and the beer is cold!!!!

Great little place

This restaurant was great. The atmosphere was rustic and quaint. The food was good with nice sized portions. The menu had variety on it which was important to me as a vegetarian. There were several vegetarian dishes to choose from. There is something for everyone here. I recommend it.

Great food, great prices

I love the Leeky Canoe. Family restaurant food at its best and great prices.
I recommend the wings, Mandori Grilled Chicken, Smothered Chicken and their flat bread pizzas.
They have a special every night.

Funky little place

An interesting little place, a bit of a college hang-out but nothing bad at all about that. The menu was interesting, food was good. Certainly worth a try if you're on a day trip along the shoreline.

Nice atmosphere but the food could have been better. The burger I had was very greasy, I know some people like that but not to my taste.

Fantastic service and family friendly

We are locals and absolutely love eating at the Leeky! The service is great, the food portions are massive in comparison to the price and its 100% kid friendly. They always have something unique on the go on Fridays and the lunch specials are tasty.

If you like pub food

... this is a restaurant you will enjoy. However, if you're after healthier fare, stay clear. There were no appealing vegetarian choices on the menu. As someone with dietary restrictions, the choices were very limited and even then, I had to delete two of the items in the wrap.

Charming

This was my first time to eat at the Leeky Canoe. We were warmly welcomed and given excellent service. The place is rather quaint and old fashioned but that only added to its charm. The food was delicious with good sized portions. I hope I can eat there again soon.

This was the best restaurant ever!! Im from NY and we know restaurants and this was hands down one of the best restaurants that i have been too. The service was phenomenal.
