Good times

I have always had a pleasant experience when dining here. Sometimes the wait can be long on the weekends but its always worth the wait! I usually order a classic dinner since it comes with salad and vegetables and not just the meat and potatoe. I would go back again.

Took my boyfriend here for his first time for his birthday. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food. Service was great.

Went here with fairly large group the service was great and they were very accommodating.

Excellent Service and meal

Very nice restaurant, has a high end feel to it, but you don't have to be dressed up to go there. The employees were dressed classy (black dresses for the ladies, nice top/pants for the guys).

Great steak, perfectly done

Visited recently for dinner, our group ordered the beef tenderloin, medium rare thru well, all were perfect, service was efficient, atmosphere was well done with dark woods/black, good lighting. Only comment for improvement I could make is maybe upgrade the glassware dishwasher, all stemware was very spotty.

Always enjoy the occasional meal at the Keg. We have learned to focus on the entrees over the years and have even developed the self-discipline to ask for the bread with our meal. Favourite Restaurant

I have never had a bad meal at this location. The food is always great as is the service. It's a little bit pricey but then sometimes you get what you pay for.

Great evening

Dinner was excellent and the server had super suggestions. My steak, rare, was done to perfection and the vegetables were not overlooked. The other meals were equally good and of courses the deserts wer not local. Great wine selection. Only down side was the music got turned up a little high for easy conversation.

My husband and I were given a $100 gift card for our 50/60 birthday. I am GF and the food was good and filling. Though busy the staff was attentive but not smothering. Without dessert we used the whole gift card...so pricey but good!

Always Good

I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The roast beef is exceptional, always tender, staff pleasant and the place is attractive.

Love our beef

We knew we would get good beef when we go to The Keg! My Classic Sirloin was tender and juicy while my husband's Prime Rib Au Jus was done just right!
The service was wonderful. We were not rushed and had time to enjoy ourselves. We would go back again!

What can I say? It's The Keg

The Keg is always spot on for good food and Brantford is no exception. I always order the baseball sirloin and it was cooked perfectly as usual. If you want good food and a pleasant atmosphere you can't go wrong with The Keg. It can be pricey for a family.

Overpriced

Found the lighting too dark and for what you get on your plate it is drastically overpriced. food was fine but not enough fo what you pay.

I wish they were open for lunch

Love the atmosphere at this Keg. It is very cozy. The service is really good and the food is very consistent. I just wish they were open for lunch all year round, or that they would open a second location in West Brant :)

Good meals and good service

I ate there twice. The first time my prime rib was the right temperature, but a little dry. The second time my steak was cooked perfectly and nice and moist. Service was very good both nights. We ate at the bar area which has a large number of tables as well.

The steak was pretty good and cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes and veggies were a little bland.

The main reason for my voting is that they would not let me order a take out order over the phone. The woman claimed that then 'they couldn't ensure the quality of my steak' like I was going to cut it open in front of her at the bar or something before bringing it home?

A very nice upscale special occasion atmosphere with a friendly helpful vibe & simply the best prime rib you can get, sublime desserts & they even gave us a marvelous & complimentary ice cream pie dessert for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. I used to order the "Rib eye", but it was replaced with 'Rib' steak, a much cheaper cut (for the same price). The Rib steak is truely awful.
