Sitting atop the Confederation Court Mall, the 10-story structure's upper floors provide sensational views; bottom ones, connected to both the mall and Confederation Centre of the Arts, offer indoor access to city amenities. The hotel opened in late 2011, and rooms throughout have a contemporary look; their minimalist style enhanced by pops of color and natural light from large windows. Fitness... more
This hotel was perfectly located within Charlottetown to see everything we wanted to see within walking distance. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The only issue is parking, but the valet will park it for you 2 blocks away, so don't forget anything you need or it's a hassle to retrieve it.
The hotel is in an excellent location, with shops and restaurants within 5-10 minute walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We got a room with a fantastic view opposite to the art centre, province house and churches. It's my preferred choice for next coming to Charlottetown.
Friendly staff. Great location. Great view of the sunrise.
Excellent location and great accommodation. Staff was very caring, with only a few minor bumps during our visit. Cleaning team did not clean our room when they saw us leave at 10 in the morning, returning at 2 PM.
We stayed 4 nights in August. We arrived on a late flight about midnight -the hotel staff was very efficient and friendly and our room was perfect! All during the stay, the staff were more than friendly and always efficient. Cabs were waiting when we came down, the valet service was ready before we were! The room was very modern, good air conditioning as we were there when it was hot! The... more
we had an amazing experience. The room was on the 9th Floor with a perfect view. The room was clean and comfortable.
Ok but queen sized beds were more like a double sized. I was disappointed.in this fact. Room was smaller but clean and bright.
My family spent 5 days at the Holman Grand last week out of necessity, as we had to give up a cottage we had booked in advance due to a change of travel plans, and we could not find another place that could take 2 adults and 2 children on the long weekend, which we needed for a family wedding. WHAT A RIP OFF. There is NOTHING at this Hotel that can justify the price. I have paid this much for a... more
Extremely nice hotel. By far the best hotel bed I have ever slept on, and I travel frequently. Very spacious and confortable rooms, clean, great service, would definitely recommend this hotel for all ages and all occasions!
Right in the heart of downtown Charlottetown next to theater, art museum, shops, nearby parks and harbor. Clean hotel, beautiful pool with waterfall, and some rooms have nice view of harbor. Only parking option is valet for $15/night (or street parking, difficult to find in the summer season); valet was reasonably quick.
The Holman Grand Hotel is the perfect place to stay to explore PEI. The hotel is close to all must see sights and restaurants. The overall experience at the hotel was wonderful. Can't say enough on how friendly and helpful everyone was. We can't wait to return!
The hotel is certainly in the centre of things. Very convenient. Very comfortable room and bed. A bit expensive and no breakfast included in price!
Nice hotel. Very quiet and clean. Found it a bit pricy considering did not include breakfast or parking. Internet was only free for 12h per day (expedia stated free internet). Disappointed that there was no bath in our room (had a baby with us), but found out later they offered plastic bathes for infants (never told us at time when complained about no bath in room). Also expedia website stated... more

This hotel is centrally located downtown, close to amenities, shopping and great restaurants. We had a King suite and it was new, bright, sparkling clean. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Holman. It epitomizes a boutique hotel. The rooms are crisp, clean, modern with flare. The service is fantastic. We enjoyed our first stay at The Holman Grand on a recent trip to Charlottetown. Our room, with a lovely view of the town and harbour, was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Wow. Did not expect to find a great hotel in downtown Charlottetown at an amazing price! I stumbled into this hotel after checking out the Delta Price Edward a much larger price tag. The Holman was walking distance to downtown core and a nice microbrewery Gahan House. Amazing fish and chip paired with a red Ale.
This hotel is probably the best that I've ever stayed at. The rooms were spotless and with everything we could have needed/wanted. The pool and hot tub were empty every time we were there, which was great. One thing that I would say to improve is that the pool's east wall is glass and overlooks a breezeway into the Confederation... more
We were there for our first wedding anniversary and the location was great. The location was Downtown, it had very clean and very modern amenities. Also, the hotel had very comfy beds and the staff was warm and welcoming.
This relatively new hotel is in a prime location and modern in décor - nice clean European lines in furnishings and services. Rooms are well-equipped and WiFi at a pretty good rate. I dare say it is much better value and comfort than the Delta down the street.
Great hotel, parking is a bit of an issue as it is a block away. Otherwise great hotel.
The room was not ready upon arrival. However, the wait was not long. The room was great and you get a great view of Charlottetown and the Confederation Art Centre. You are connected to the mall from inside and walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants in the area. The only problem is parking. The hotel does not have its own parking lot but there is an affordable Parkade two blocks away less... more
My recent visit to Charlottetown was a last minute business trip and I did not have a lot time to pick and choose a hotel. My final decision was made partially on price and location.... more
Spent 5 days there recently and can say that the hotel is a fantastic accommodation choice. The staff were friendly and accommodating, Red Waters food was great and the pool was quiet and clean. Would definitely stay there again.
We had the luxury of staying in a couple suites with another family this past weekend! The accommodations were perfect! Everything is so modern, clean and super comfortable! The staff were always very accommodating to our requests!

I booked a night at the Holman to get a little time to myself. I wasn't dissappointed! Having booked the romance package, I was greeted by chocolates and wine. The package included a dining credit as well. I had a lovely meal in the seemingly popular hotel restaurant.

The good: freshly renovated, great location, helpful but overwhelmed front desk staff, reasonably comfortable rooms, decent value.
The bad: new and/or poorly trained housekeeping, poorly finished renovations, cold and starkly decorated (to my taste, anyway).
The renovations were clearly rushed as bare plaster and missing trim was left exposed and unfinished. On our check-in at 4:45, neither our...

Clean, spacious, wonderful shower, magnifying mirror (yikes) , comfy beds , bath robes, walk to excellent pubs ,restaurants and entertainment. We are thrilled and we are not here in the summer ...I love Charlottetown and now I love The Holman Grand Hotel!
Room was clean, comfortable, well appointed with all the necessities to make my stay perfect. If you're in town this is the perfect spot to settle into. Fitness centre was one feature I used and appreciated how the equipment was in good condition, the room itself was well ventilated and towels where plentiful.
We were down for a long weekend and stayed here with a large group. We happened to have a suite which was quite nice. The bar was nice. Never ate there so don't know how the food was but the bar service and area was to our liking.

Generally a great place to stay...here are my pros and cons:
Pros:

-pool is pretty nice though in the basement
-Keurig coffee machine in room

They are quick to highlight that they are the first new hotel to open in Charlottetown in quite a while, which is reason enough to stay, its brand new and spotlessly clean. Decor Feels a bit stark, not a lot of personality to it. I like the modern clean look but the decor felt like it was missing something. Also a bit strange not to have a dresser in the room for clothes. There was a small one in the closet but that was it.
Great location, excellent service, very clean!
We arrived around noon just as the parade for the Gold Cup was close to finishing and the streets were blocked so we couldn't reach our hotel. We parked our car on a side street, found a spot for lunch, and walked to sightsee and shop. We returned to our car and arrived at the hotel around 4pm (check-in says 3pm). The air conditioning was controlled by front desk so I was not able to control the temperature of the room. The hotel is new. The room is still very clean. Comfortable bed and lots of pillow. Not a lot of varieties of food in the restaurant. Not that far from the water front and connect to a small shopping mall if you happen to forget something.
