그레이트 조지 호텔은 시내 중심지에 위치해 이동하기도 좋고 시내관광도 용이했다. 아침식사도 매우 신선하고 좋았으며 직원들도 매우 친절했다. 무엇보다 숙소가 매우 깨끗했고 우리는 호텔 본관이 아닌 별관을 이용했는데 별관은 호텔 옆에 줄지어 있는 집들을 우리나라 독채팬션처럼 이용할수 있는 것이어서 주방 거실 침실 욕실 세탁실 모두 편리하게 사용할수 있어 매우 좋았다.

どこへ行くにも便利で、部屋も広くて快適

コテージの2階の部屋でしたが、シーズン前だったせいか1階は誰も泊まっておらずとても静かで快適でした。2ベッドでリクエストしたらベッドルームが2部屋でうれしかったです。メインストリートからも近くどこへ行くにも便利でした。ただ古いからか床がギシギシしていたのと、階段が急で重いスーツケースを2階から下ろすのは大変でした。あとタオルの補充はしてありましたが、前の日使ったものがそのままで出来れば片づけてほしかったです。

クラシックなホテル

ホテルと部屋は想像していた通り落ち着いた居心地のいいホテルです。立地も抜群です。残念だったのは部屋に冷蔵庫がなかったことです。でも共通のパソコンも無料で使えるし（日本語も呼び出せました。）、朝食も種類は多くありませんが満足のいくものでした。お願いしたことも確実にやっていただきました。これはホテルの責任とは言えないかもしれませんが、滞在中停電があり３時間ぐらい復旧にかかりました。エアコンの必要はない場所なので大した影響はありませんでしたが初めての経験でした。

かわいい港町シャーロットタウンにある素晴らしいホテル

シャーロットタウンはこじんまりしていても歴史を感じる街です。街の中央には重厚な教会や市庁舎があります。そこを中心に住宅街が広がります。そんな風景を構成している一部としてホテルがあります。重厚で、歴史を感じることができ、そして清潔感も漂います。部屋もいいですよ。スタッフも明るい。小さなかわいい街だから静かでとても平和的です。

the cradle of Canada

We loved being able to walk to Government House and also the many good restaurants in the area. We had a great breakfast in their comfortable loby area and enjoyed the wine between 5 and 6 pm. The room was larg eand very comfortable.

Loved it!

This hotel was a sweet boutique hotel in the middle of Charlottetown. We will be back! Lots of nice extras, like bagged breakfast for those of us in a hurry. And warm cookies. I stayed here with my two daughters, aged 10 and 14. They loved it, too.

Disappointed to have been allocated a room in the annex across the street. Although the accommodation was spacious and clean it did smell a bit musty. Breakfast was a bit chaotic as the second batch of eggs/omelette didn't come out for about 20 minutes after the first lot finished! Beautiful Historic Hotel

The Great George Hotel is a beautiful, historic hotel located in the heart of downtown Charlottetown -- only steps from many wonderful shops and restaurants. The staff are friendly and attentive and the lobby is so charming and comfortable. We highly recommend this unique hotel.

Boutique and vintage-feel with first class service

We stayed for two days over Canada Day and had a wonderful experience from the moment we stepped in. The staff were helpful and charming and consistently went out of their way to accommodate guests. The room was spacious, clean and beautiful. The hotel itself is close to everything going on in Charlottetown. I didn't want to leave!

More than just great, it is excellence

The customer service was the best we'd ever received from our stays across Ontario. The staff went above and beyond to welcome and service us so that our experience was incomparable. When we return to PEI, we will exclusively stay with the Great George. Great view, amazing staff, delicious breakfast, tasteful rooms and beautiful decor.

Excellent central location close to restaurants.

Stayed in the "romantic suite", a lot of money for very little. Continental breakfast only, no special perks with the room other than a Jacuzzi tub that we did not have time to use, not even free bottled water. A bit noisy when the bars close down and the people are walking past the building, singing, talking and fighting. Happy Hour from 5-6 pm was a nice touch.

Luxury boutique

This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Charlottetown close to all the sights and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very spacious. The hotel provided a nice breakfast and even provide a "to go" bag if you leave before breakfast starts at 7am. Wonderful on every level. Most other hotels could learn a lot from this property. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel that knows how to take care of it's guests.

The lobby in this fine hotel has a warm and comfortable European feel to it. Some of the staff are extremely helpful and everyone was very friendly. Rooms, staff,location

Lovely hotel with great service and amenities. Checked in at 5:30 to find complimentary cocktail hour featuring locally brewed beverages. The staff were all pleasant and friendly and eager to help. A true pleasure and an affordable one at that.

The location is great and the hotel is well-kept and clean. The best part was the service - warm cookies, happy hour for guests, quickly brought a portable crib to our room, turn down service, nice breakfast and very friendly staff.

The Greatest George

This is one of the best places to stay. I am only hesitant to sing the praises any further as I would like to keep this place my little secret. The entire staff were fantastic. It is very obvious the proprietor know their business and knows it well.

Charming ambience, great location

Loved the beautiful historic building and interior furnishings, especially the lobby and great room for breakfast and afternoon wine or tea. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Easy walk to everything in the old part of Charlottetown. I would go back here in a minute

Outstanding

We are on a Maritime road trip with 4 days of continuous rain but The Great George made it all right. The location was a short walk to everything, our room was fantastic, not just well decorated but immaculate, the staff were super friendly and helpful and the cookies OMG!!

Location Staff

Wasn't quite what I expected from the photos on the net. There maybe some areas that do but as I had requested a lovely room as it was to be the high light of our trip, it was a little disappointing. Our room lost power the morning we were leaving. The bathroom/toilet was very small and the fan was pathetic so took ages to remove steam etc. Dampness resulting.

We liked everything. The baked cookies were great. The lounge area was warm and inviting. The room was spacious and very well kept.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Great George. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and could not have done more to be helpful. The room was really beautiful and the lobby very welcoming. It is located right in the center of town, with easy walks to the in-town sites. We would certainly recommend it to anyone.

the hotel is lovely.

the power went out during out stay and the hotel does not have a generator. nor do they have any kind of supplemental lighting in the hallways. the staff didn't offer anything to us for the inconvenience - obviously it wasn't their fault - but it certainly impacted our trip.

This stay was part of our anniversary trip and the room and location was ideal for our celebration. The staff was very helpful, friendly and accomodating. We were within comfortable walking distance of many attractions and food options.

This is a lovely hotel within walking distance of every thing you want to see in Charlottetown. The staff is exceptional. They were cheerful, professional, helpful and kind. I love the antique furnishings. The big, open first floor is a very comfortable place to sit and visit. There is a good breakfast and always fruit and warm cookies. Location in downtown Charlottetown is excellent. Very clean, nicely renovated. Quiet. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice wine/beer hour in the afternoon. Breakfast offering is decent though a little awkward to eat at the sofas and chairs.

The room was fine. The air conditioner was horrendous. Added on with a plastic tube from the window to the unit inside at the foot of the bed. So noisy I couldn't sleep. This hotel was nice, and had a pretty lobby, but it seems as if we paid a pretty high rate for an off-season stay. After 4 weeks of travelling in Canada, we have stayed in many wonderful
hotels but the Great George had a unique charm about its decor and
setting. The concept of using established timber buildings reflected pei
architecture and history. We were lucky enough to stay in a suite and we
felt very much at home. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the
service was exceptional.

A way over priced no wounder. Most people do Pei as a day trip for the beachs we thought about a nice quiet night but to much to get a nice room but i gess they only have 8 weeks to make it over there

Horrible experience. Never going back ever again

rIt deserves the title

We stayed two nights one at begining of trip and one at the end. The room was open and large we were able to bring in three large suit cases and still had room. We stayed in this hotel for two nights while in Charlottetown PEI and loved loved loved it........The rooms are so clean and nice and they tuly are very comfy with nice beds and pillows!
