Domenica is a very lively place to meet up for after work drinks or an informal meal. In our small group we had the Quattro Formaggio pizza and the Wood Fired eggplant. Went in for Thanksgiving dinner and had the 4 course prix fix. I made reservations about a week in advance and had been looking forwards to my first Thanksgiving in a restaurant. Was not disappointed. Great service, fun atmosphere, outstanding dinner!

We were expecting a simple regular Italian but it turned to be a wonderful experience. The food was exquisite. We had the plate of cheese and salamis for starters, they were served with many different types of delicious bread. The pasta were cooked perfectly and the desserts were delicious. At the end, we were given a little thank you box with delicious chocolate cookies.

Probably good for pizza, but we ordered from a special Thanksgiving/Hanukkah menu. Really the food was good but the place felt cold. This is a problem with many hotel restaurants. You always know when you are in one. The Roosevelt Hotel has a very impressive lobby, and the Sazerac Bar there is classic. Not so with Domenica though.

Special place

This is the restaurant that my wife and I went to on our honeymoon weekend. We just made one year and went there fir dinner. It was a great experience both times. Cant wait to go back.

Love the Pizza at Happy Hour

Domenica is always a fun place to go but the half off happy hour prices are fantastic. I love the holidays at the Roosevelt and it was the perfect day to walk through the lobby and grab a late lunch. Everything was wonderful: wine, pizza, cauliflower, and afatati misti. Chef Alon was out in the main dining area and stopped by to say hello.

Couldn't have been better!

Our waiter really knew the menu and dish ingredients. His recommendations were spot on. I like pizza with a thinner, crispier crust, but the flavor of our pie was outstanding. We also had a delicious redfish plate and 2 members of our group completely enjoyed the lasagna bolognese. The semifreddo dessert was a real treat.

Happy Hour

Domenica never disappoints. The atmosphere is fun and you cannot beat the Happy Hour specials. The pizzas are the best in the city and the drinks are creative.

Loved the food, service was adequat

My husband and I split a pizza. He had the lamb meatballs on his and I had the mushroom with yard egg. Both of us loved it. I had been reading the reviews and knew service here was an issue with several patrons. We have travelled a lot and I have to comment the best fish is at this restaurant.
We never are disappointed in our selections. The seafood risotto is excellent.
I have eaten iat Fishermans' Wharf San Francisco and although it was tasty it did not compare to the Fish House.Many selections to choose from.

We were 2 couples. Two of us ordered the meal special which was Mahi Mahi with lobster.

Was there last night only to use some old gift certificates. We showed them when we arrived and the hostess said they were fine but the manager wouldn't accept them when we went to pay. After a lot of coaxing he finally took $10 off the bill. (The certificates had a value of $40. Their Grand Banks Bucks.) The food was fine and we might have gone back. We certainly won't go back now.

Adequate Seafood in Markham

The crab cakes were premade, I think, but the salad that came with them was pretty good. I ordered grilled pickeral and it was well cooked but a bit flavourless. The key lime pie for dessert was good.
The wine I ordered was not available although it was featured in the wine list.

Comfortable booths, lively atmosphere, half prize appetizers on weeknights and daily drink specials. Food was decent.

Most disgusting meal I have ever had. Someone should call Gordon Ramsey to do a Kitchen Nightmares. I had to put a one star at the top, I couldn't post it otherwise, too bad!

We just returned from the most disgusting meal I have personally ever had. I have eaten at a great deal of restaurants from 5 star to the mom and pop kind. This place barr none was the worst. Good place to hang out and have a drink and some appetizers. Main dishes are fresh and tasty too. A good value for seafood.

Nice place to score some halibut and chips. Prices not too bad plus happy hour specials on bar food.
