Delicious Beer, Scrumptious Food!

I've eaten here often, the food is always great! Fish chowder and soda bread always the best! Most delicious supper time specials. Friendly pub atmosphere. This place has got it together!

Oh how sweet...

Sweet potatoes that is. I've had a few things off the menu there and the food may be the best pub food in town. It's still for debate, but with what I've tried (Thistle/Frog and Toad) I would say so. I'm also a huge sweet potato fries fan and get them when I can. These were the best ones I've ever had both in and out of New Glasgow. Regardless of what you get off the menu I would recommend getting the sweet potato fries as your side.

Best Pub in Town

Amazing service, great company, the best patio in town! The Dock has wonderful food-the Thursday night special....mac and cheese heaven! Haven't tried anything that I don't love. The chowder and soda bread keep me coming back. It is a shame they took the Pasta Gamberi off the menu, but if you ask nicely, they'll often make you up a batch! Seriously, the best in town. No questions!

I really liked this pub, looked like something you would see in Great Britain. Even though it was well loved the premises were clean and the food was great.

Quaint Irish Pub, great atmosphere
August 05, 2014

Gorgeous building, friendly service, unbeatable food, great prices, and certainly a treat for our anniversary. It's a walk-in off the street establishment but there is certainly lots of parking on nearby streets and parking lots and a nice stop after strolling the local waterfront and downtown shops. Treat yourself, visit The Dock!

this was my second visit to The Dock. The food was good on both occasions. They make a great Mussel recepie with Sambuca. Very delicious
They service was good, no complaints.
I was a little dissapointed in the beer selection. I thought an Irish pub would have lots of Irish beer for sale however the selection was quite limited.

The Dock in New Glasgow surprised me with their menu items. For a pub they had a couple of diverse items to choose from. I had the portabello mushroom sandwhich. It came with grilled peppers, tomato and swiss cheese! Goodness! Juicy and savory! The side of fries were perfectly crispy and hot.

This place has an old Irish pub feel to it. Cramped old dining room furniture with soccer pictures all over the walls. Beer was cold and the food was hot. This pub is one of the best. The owners, Carmel and Wayne are "hands on" and have created an atmosphere similar to a typical Irish pub serving good ale/beer and great pub food.
