Another wonderful lunch

Nice post golf meal
August 06, 2014We ate close to closing time after golfing. Burger was very good as was the pasta. Lovely view of the sea from the terrace where it was still warm enough to dine outdoors.

Wonderful restaurant for families

The staff at Thalassa are so friendly and make our young family feel right at home. There's a putting green and pitch n put right out front overlooking a spectacular ocean view that can't be beat. It keeps my kids occupied before and after dinner.
This is our favourite family restaurant in Qualicum / Parksville. Not to be missed.

Never again
July 30, 2014My carbonara linguine where swimming in the sauce. But i found some right under a mountain of cheese and sauce. I added some chicken to that and it was cut sooo thin hardly (3mm ). I recommend the restaurant for elderly people who have trouble to chew or bite. But i have to say it all after all tasted good... more

Outstanding food and service with a view
July 19, 2014We went to the restaurant around 3:30pm for an early dinner. We were greeted and seated quickly! Ordered the Greek platter and oysters! Excellent, big portions and very tasty! Had a beautiful window view of the golf course and the ocean! If you're looking for relaxing place to go, you've found it! A+!

Great View! Food is hit or miss

Summer evening dining
June 16, 2014Summer evening dining. Wonderful view. peaceful, friendly atmosphere in comfortable seating. Complimentary, tasty appetizer enjoyed prior to main entrée of spinach salad topped with prawns. Attractively served - it was colourful, healthy and delicious. Where's the turkey

Problem quickly resolved
December 17, 2013My group of 21 came expecting a full turkey meal and, due to a communications SNAFU, the turkey part was missed in our reservation. Owner Oura jumped into action, solved the problem and, after a short delay, we were back on course. Everyone enjoyed the meal which was great value.

Best Spot in Qualicum to Eat

After our annual street golf tournament, twenty six of us sat down to dinner. Service was prompt, efficient and very friendly.

Golf course restaurant close to home

This is our favourite local restaurant. It has a glorious view, comfortable seating, friendly staff, appealing menu and tasty food. Today I had one of the lunch specials - delicious prawns with Pita bread and small salad. Excellent value at $9.95. Tops on the menu for me is the attractive spinach, berry, walnut salad topped with sockeye salmon.

Came on Sunday, brunch didn't appeal to us, so ordered off the limited menu, after waiting 20 minutes just for water and having to ask for it twice, should have knowing better and left.
