From OpenTable:

Montrealers have taken whole-heartedly to Thai cuisine, finding its unique blend of flavors, herbs, spices an exotic, interesting and delicious combination. Restaurant Thaïlande is a terrific place to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine; this establishment has been open since 1987 and attracts any type of crowd who appreciate amazing food and tasteful typical Thai décor. For the price, the quality of the cuisine is very good. By far my favorite Thai place in Montreal. The Kaeng Phed Talay is a must try for Thai food lovers, and the Kaeng Kari is great for Thai newbies. The service and decor is exactly what you would expect of a tacky Thai restaurant which adds to the experience.

Very good Thai, but certainly not the best Montreal has to offer. The price is a bit more reasonable than some of the other options and the food is a bit above average. I would go back and given the size of the restaurant, it works well for last-minute plans.

"""After painstakingly surveying all of Montreal's Thai eateries this one easily outshines. The menu is extensive - the choice of curries and stirfries is vast. Often, Asian fare relies exclusively on heat however Thailande's offerings are quite refined a"""

Don't search for parking, use their Valet service!
May 12, 2009

There are not many free parking spots, so I ended up using the Valet parking, and it was perfect..you pay as much as you want, just need to tip the Valet.

The place was nice, the food really tasty but the service not the best. Either there was a language barrier or the waiter was not so helpful when we asked what were the best dishes, he always pointed to the menu and couldn’t recommend... more

One of the better Thai restaurants in Montreal. The ambiance is a bit drab if you don't happen to be seated in the salon, but the food makes up for it. Lacks the polish of Thai Grill, but service is much faster. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant, the Tom Yum Goong soup and Yum Nua (my personal favorites) are quite good.
