Excellent food, great menu
August 09, 2014The food in this restaurant was excellent. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. As a Brit, the spice rating was comparable to UK, so a hot dish really was hot.

Wow, fantastic
August 02, 2014Amazing food! You can choose how spicy you would like your food. We tried 4 different dishes and three different types of rice and I cannot say enough how amazing it was! To top it off, the bathrooms were spotless and gorgeous!

August 01, 2014Visited here twice on business trip. Although the restaurant is in an industrial unit the decor is well designed to conjurer up the right atmosphere. Thai Orchid Room has obviously put a lot of thought and energy into visuals; the decor is unusually appealing, and the food presentations are designed to attract the eye. We had a great dinner with very special friends
July 11, 2014Visiting friends in Medicine Hat they took us out to there favourite restaurant. It was very nice. Nice decor, good food selection on the menu, and excellent service. The food was very fresh tasting we thoroughly enjoyed the different dishes we ordered. Of course sharing dinner with our friends was the best part. We had a very enjoyable evening.

Great meal

When ordering food make sure you understand their degree of hotness esp the difference between mild and med. My family and I always go to the Thai Orchid Room for special occasions, and when we want to treat ourselves.
Best dish, in my opinion, is the coconut rice with yellow curry chicken on top! Delish!
I always recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal!

June 09, 2014If you like Thai, this is a must. Had the green chicken curry with coconut rice, it was excellent. Their ingredients are fresh, atmosphere relaxing and the service was top notch. Cant wait to return to this restaurant when I am back in Medicine hat. They definitely deserve the number #1 spot.

Great food and service
May 03, 2014The staff is prompt and helpful in explaining dishes that are new. I have tried many things on the menu and they have all been good. Particular favorites are the green, yellow, and peanut curries and the ginger chicken. The coconut rice is delicious. I have never had Thai food at another restaurant that is this delicately flavored.

April 15, 2014Best place to eat in town. The portion is always huge but a bit $$$. Overall, totally worth it. If you love spicy, make sure to ask for the super hot. I found out the curry is not hot at all. At least to my taste.

Great peanut curry

March 03, 2014Best authentic Thai I have ever eaten. The staff was courteous, friendly and professional. It is definitely a high class restaurant for such a redneck city. The owner came to our table to show us specials with photos on his iPad and chatted up the table a bit. He truly cares about his clientele. I will return to this restaurant.

At least as good as any big city Thai restaurant
February 14, 2014When working in 'The Hat we always make a point to stop here at least once. Great decor, great food, reasonable price, it's been good every time. Huge selection of curries and other authentic (as far as I know, though I've never been to Thailand) dishes. Gone with 2-4 co-workers most times and never heard a complaint either.

Fragrant, delicious food
