Little Lemurs big on entertainment
May 28, 2014We saw a fantastic show on the lemurs of Madagascar. Very enlightening. Telus World of Science is the place to go for entertainment.!! We bought a wonderful book on World Religions.

Our daughter didn't want to leave!
We visited between special exhibits, but there was more than enough fun to be had. We were visiting from Calgary and used our science centre card from there via the reciprocal agreement, so didn't have to pay for entry.

Interesting but expensive
April 14, 2014Our preschooler grandkids really enjoy parts of the World of Science. They like the discovery play area the best but also enjoy the exhibit about the body. Great for all ages
March 23, 2014Our family of five spent the afternoon just wandering around inside. There are a lot of hands on activities for the kids to keep them busy, while they are learning. The Harry Potter exhibit was also cool (closing soon) for my son who loves the movies.

We drove up, with reservations in hand, to see the Harry Potter exhibit. It was great to see all the costumes and props. The audio tour is a must.

High Sound Levels in Imax

Harry Potter misses the mark
January 18, 2014I cant help but compare this exhibit to others like Star Wars and Titanic. HP was VERY much JUST movie set stuff and costumes. A day of fun and discovery with grandchildren

Over Christmas season we went twice with grandchildren.
The IMax theatre has been beautifully renovated with very comfortable captains chairs. It's always a popular stop with our family.
The big draw was the Harry Potter artifacts. Neither my wife nor I had any experience with HP but our grandchildren were more than willing to fill us in. I was amazed...

Excellent exhibition of plastified bodies, showing the reality of health, cancer, growth, death. Very didactic and illustrative, with all the respect for the people who donated his bodies for science and education.
This a great exhibition from physician and pioneering anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens, who presents the body throughout the human life cycle and across the arc of aging....

August 30, 2013went to see Body world exhibit which was very different and disturbing there were other things to see too ...It is a very large building but it seems fairly empty the room with feces and ear wax and urine as well as other gross body fluids on display in jars is downright disturbing .....the grounds were lovely
