Gorgeous enough to live in, this Bloor-Yorkville boutique is where to find stunning floral arrangements, fashion and design books, body products, toys, objets d'art and housewares, all top-of-the-line and perfectly giftable; there is ample inspiration in the impeccably designed space, which often blends styles and time periods.
Life is drama, so why should the items you fill your home with be dull? That seems to be the question at Teatro Verde, where even table coasters are things of beauty. In 2009, the owners moved to a renovated Georgian mansion on Yorkville Avenue, so there are even more statuettes, table linens, art books, and other delights on show now.
Anyone thinking of shopping here should take the advice of a contemporary designer, such as myself lol: DON'T DO IT.
Before one does anything especially when shelling out funds that this store commands they should do their research.
Question anyone in the florist business within Toronto and they will tell you of the horrible, racist, Hitler-like attitude you will encounter when dealing with...

Love going to this store! It's always a great experience. The staff is friendly, kind and service oriented. They make excellent flowers, I always get great complements.
Be prepared to stay longer than you thought. This store is one of the most interesting in Yorkville. From cool to upscale and everything between.
Really overpriced, but it is a unique place to find gifts for people you don't know that well.
So disappointing!!! I am used to receiving gorgeous flowers from Teatro Verde every year from my daughter but this year it was the worst quality flowers ever!!! I sent them three pictures to show the brown roses that I had just received and did not even get an email back from them!!! They couldn't care less.... they had my daughter's money and couldn't care less that they had a customer that... more
A bit dear for this poor yelper, Teatro Verde is a repository for all tastes Lucullan. Need a Chinoiserie vase? It's only $750. Or you could pick up the latest issue of Visionaire for only $468. Yes it's expensive but still a worthwhile inclusion in your gifting safari.
This two-storey store is the former Mount Sinai hospital. It originally cost $12,000 to build in 1922, but today you could...

The Plain and boring facade of Teatro Verde is really deceiving. I walked by it dozen time without going in as I never realize what I been missing....
Since Teatro Verde's building used to be Mount Sinai Hospital, I love how they leave the outside of the building the way it was.
They also does a great job in having the area divided into little sections, each have a theme or a colour scheme....

Sure, it's not cheap, but what a fun place to explore. Will be back to pick up a fragrance soon!
Thank you Mike at Teatro Verde! He totally saved my wedding day.
We have a last minute crises on the florist one day before the wedding and Mike able to help us so I won't be a bride without a bouquet. The bouquet and the tall decoration pieces on the ceremony were so beautiful and everyone love it!
I visited the 98 Yorkville, Toronto location for the first time and it will be the last time.
I was not aware of the hours for the store and when my friend and I were upstairs looking around we were told the store was closing, so we made our way downstairs, since I wanted to find out the price of a chandelier before I left the store.
When we got to ground floor, a salesperson headed to the...

Teatro Verde is eye candy for the person who loves decorating their home. Amazing for gifts as well. The store has moved from hazelton lanes to the historic hospital that has been restored into their new home. its 2 floors, grab a coffee and take an hour to wonder around. -heaven
Teatro Verde is the most expensive but also the best in Toronto.
They do tons of over the top bouquets and have lots of neat bases, garden stuff and home ware that you can't get anywhere else.
I always recommend this joint to my guy friends when they want to get something for their lovers. I usually call over and ask for all white and green, $50 bouquet and it's never short of amazing! They...
