I'm an Italian immigrant and pizza maker, I tried out Tartinizza just for curiosity,and I can tell you that the only similarity to the Italian pizza is the flatness and the shape, the dough is terrible
and the toppings are tasteless, I definitively wouldn't suggest this place to all the people that tried the real Italian pizza in Italy and...

Nice atmosphere- disappointing pizza
19 août 2013The atmosphere is great- and service is nice and this place is a local's favourite. But the pizza was flavourless. A little fresh basil, some garlic would go a long way here. The kitchen has lost it's way and needs a reboot.

We called for a reservation on Tuesday and since they are only open from Thursday to Sunday, I got a recording saying that if no one calls us back our phone reservation would be ok. And it WAS! Great Pizza and Beer

25 août 2012inquired about the gluten free pizza, toppings and procedures and was met by a sarcastic angry owner who offered to give me the list in a poem form. Also informed me the parent of a celiac child, that cheese and veggies dont contain gluten. What about cross contamination i asked...... the answer has yet to come....... great waitress though.

Brilliant with babies

Busy - but good food and excellent service
05 mars 2012When we arrived it looked like we were out of luck (definitely recommend researvations on weeekends - especially long weekends), but as we were about to depart an unexpected cancellation provided a table for the three of us. The service was warm and attentive despite the restaurant being full. The pizzas were quick to arrive, very good and reasonably priced!

After deciding to take a stroll down the main strip of Sutton we stopped off here for dinner before heading back to our chalet.
We didn't have a reservation, and they were able to seat us despite expecting a busy evening (I'd make reservations!). The place quickly filled up.

We go to this place on and off on occasion when we are like today in Sutton. In the summer, patio is nice in the winter, the inside is very cosy.
What impresses me every time is the tremendous efforts deployed in the kitchen to vary the daily specials, to try new combination, to incorporate local fresh products. Today soup...

The meal started ok, with decent service and little wait time, but half-way through the meal, our server went home without telling us and it seems like the other servers loosely took over our tables, but with little focus.

Good, honest food
26 juillet 2011I eat regularly at Tartin'Izza and have never been disapointed. Their salade nicoise is great - generous, fresh ingredients and a really tasty dressing. The thin crust pizzas are excellent and the daily special of soup then a half pizza with salad is great value. Good food priced right

After splurging on a number of dinners we were looking for a 'value meal'. We found that at Tartinizza. Great atmosphere, very good prices and good food.
This is a very casual place so if you are looking for something formal, this is not it. But if you are looking for a comfortable dining experience, this is it.

Good atmosphere but terrible food and service
08 janvier 2010This place was packed with both locals and tourists so we thought it had to be good. They had fun books to flip through as you waited for the food which we thought was great. The trouble happened when the pizzas arrived. Mine was burnt the edges were black and the cheese was hard and brown. I couldn't believe they... plus
