I love having this restaurant close by in the neighbourhood. The food is excellent, with many tempting choices as appetizers and main dishes. Plus you get to bring your own wine. I have been to Tandem several times since it opened and I have never been disappointed with my meal.
Good service too. My only quibble is that the tables are close together and it can be noisy if the place is full. But... plus

Excellent neighborhood resto that aspires to bigger things. My friend heard about it so we made the trek. Even though mostly french they tried to accommodate me. They have a 5 or 7 chef tasting menu but we opted for a la carte. Started with a jerusalem artichoke soup which was perfectly seasoned. Then the foie gras creme brulee which was a bit more subtle and could have used more foie gras but... plus

What a surprise

This was a group dinner organized by one friend. It was a large group so the restaurant closed for just us. We had our "cellar-master" organize the wines. First of all, the staff was terrific, they took our coats, poured the bubbly, served the "munchies" making sure everybody got a chance at them.. and they were great. beef satay, gouda... plus

First of, it is a BYOW and the closest SAQ is a 7-10 min walk away and has regular shop hours, so think ahead if you want to avoid dépanneur wine!

Ma copine a du retourné son filet (veau) qui commandé médium et revenu médium saignant. Le goût était plutôt fade et la présentation discutable.

Yummy and soooo nice service

Time after time, always good food, warm ambiance, nice service. One of the owner serve at table and she is gorgeous ! The menu written on a blackboard is varied - always good choice - good price too and it's a bring your own wine. In addition there is a small terrace at the front of the restaurant.

Very good experience, I've been there 3 times and will definitely go back ! Good for couples and friends. Need to reserve on Friday and Saturday :)

Excellent food: nuanced flavors and refined textures. You can taste the chef's care and precision in the food. Fresh, local ingredients cooked to perfection. Modern, chic ambience with a terrasse area for summer. And it's BYO. What more could you want?

Cozy little BYOW French resto

It's hard to get a reservation as the place is really tiny. I do not mind that it's so small, as they pay more attention to details and the food was great. After the meal, the chef even came out to ask our opinions on his food. We will definitely go back as the menu changes with the seasons.
