An Excellent Partnership!
On behalf of the Pickering Power Green 2001 Girls Soccer Team, I would like to personally Thank You for support this past summer in the form of a sponsorship. Your valuable contribution allowed our girls to train and develop and the highest level possible. This past summer the team won three tournaments, finished 2nd the Durham Soccer League and were crowned Champions winning the Durham Cup.
Companies such as Sylvan play an important role in the development our children. That is evident in at least 4 of our players who attend Sylvan to achieve a higher level of learning. Sylvan has set an extremely high standard in the tutoring of students, and now with your generous donation this past summer, you are also making a difference on the playing field.

I could not be more pleased!
I am writing to express my appreciation for the tutoring that my daughter received from you in math.
Always an A student in math, my daughter had a teacher with a strong accent who talked very fast. In grade eleven, she was getting 50's in math. I brought her to Sylvan to help her get a higher mark on her exam. After only three sessions with Sylvan, she got a sixty-eight on the exam. I am happy to report that she made the honour roll by two percent. If it were not for your tutoring, she would not have made the honour roll.
I couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from Sylvan.

When we were searching for something additional to expand our daughter's math skills, we researched many establishments such as kumon, oxford, and personal tutoring, to ensure our daughter goals would be met. We are very happy to of found Sylvan learning. Sylvan provides a nice ratio of kids to one teacher to be able to provide a more personal tutoring style, sylvan has a great incentive /reward program that motivates the kids,the staff is amazing to deal with and very accomodating to your schedule and needs. Our daughter has been going for the last 3 years and never complains when it is time to go to sylvan. She is exposed to math topics before she is even taught it in school, which provides her that comfort level when those topics are being taught. She continues to achieve an "A+" average in math.
Sylvan is more pricey than the other establishments but you do pay for what you get here at sylvan. My rationale is people look for the best sports team, dance school, or gymnastic facility to put their kids in and would pay ridiculous money to do so, why should it be any different for education?
It is also nice to see Sylvan give back to the community of Pickering by sponsoring sports team for the kids that attend Sylvan learning, like our daughter's soccer team this year.
Sylvan gets our 5+ vote!
Community Involvement
You have always been there to help my son in English and Math. His marks this year (grade 9) have soared.
I also really appreciate that you sponsored one of our soccer teams in Claremont.

Sylvan was a place that actually helped me improve my reading when I was in grade 4. And just last year (in grade 10) it help me improve my mark in math! Between all the great teachers, help and fun stuff to do! Why wouldn't you GO!!!!!
