bad experience
i probably will not go back. i had the quarter chicken, or something like that, and it was really not good. the service wasnt fast either, and i realllly disliked the gravy and other sauces that were served.
the staff was pleasent though.

Food is great, but sometimes the service is a little off. I have went and gotten my food right away but then other days it has taken 45+ minutes for my food. But in the end the food is always worth the wait!

Every one tries to rotisse chicken, I feel you invented it. My food is always perfect, and enjoy your great staff. Your chicken is so tender, and fries crispy. Don't change a thing....

Nauseating fish & tobacco odor

Good Chicken, Tasteless Greasy Spring Rolls
May 20, 2014Hubby and I really enjoyed the chicken. Although the atmosphere is fast food style, it's so much better than taking it home. The chicken spring rolls were surprisingly tasteless despite dripping with grease (not deep fried at proper temperature I suspect). The service was prompt and friendly, especially since it was close to 9:00pm and the place was virtually empty.

Yummy food, nice atmosphere

Worst service ever
May 15, 2013Staff was rude and service indifferent. The place was busy but we were completely ignored and when we asked about ordering, were rudely told they 'were really busy' and would be with us soon . Never returned - we walked out.

The chicken is always done to perfection, the surroundings are very pleasant, the staff always more than helpful.
It can be expensive as you only get chicken/ribs and one side, if you want a potato and a vegetable it costs extra, as does white chicken meat. But always consistent in the quality of the food, worth at least one visit,...

Very Mediocre
September 27, 2011Stopped for a quick lunch because the food at other Swiss Chalet's is always good. Ordered a quesadilla, big mistake. I think they were frozen and reheated in the microwave. Good thing the flavour was good because they were sogged beyond belief. Stick with the chicken and you will probably be fine.

August 21, 2011Every time we dine here, I am always amazed at how fast our meals are delivered, even when it is busy. The servers are always friendly and quick. The food is fresh and tasty. We love their garlic cheese bread. We even on occasion order take-out on busy weeknights or a weekend treat.

Great food...Wait until after Peak Hours

The Swiss Chalet location in Truro serves very good food. The wait staff do wayed down during the supper rush hour. The wait staff overall are pleasant to the patrons.
My tip for anyone wanting to eat here...be prepred to wait, if you arrive at supper time. Due to the high volume of people being served you can wait longer...
