Went to Sushi San for lunch. the prices are extremely attractive and the pork bento box was great!!! i was surprised that everything came to less than $10. they also have a reward card system so ask if you ever visit Sushi San
Price and quality are comparable to your average sushi restaurant run by non-Japanese owners. One of the sushi dishes we ordered didn't smell right. They very politely and repeatedly apologized and replaced it. To be fair, it was a very hot week so maybe that affected their refrigeration. I would have expected them to take it off the bill but they replaced it. Tough economy so forgivable. Still, I'd go elsewhere because there was nothing remarkable about the experience.
Sushi San has very affordable lunch specials.
This restaurant folded over 1 year ago. So, don't bother going there looking for Sushi San.
At the same location is a Korean restaurant called Owl of Minerva which is a chain. If you like pork bone soup, you will like this new restaurant.
I've been here a couple of times for lunch. I'll be honest and say I've had better Japanese food before. The sashimi doesn't taste too fresh. The miso soup also tastes quite odd. They do offer cheap lunches, but the quality isn't the best.
This is our secret sushi spot, but then I have to write this review because they are amazing!!! Sashimi on the rice is my favourite, each time I dine there; I feel the happiness of enjoying the food. The chef is a very young man, but he makes very exceptional dishes which always brings my memory of visiting Japan.
