The hotel was rated as a three-star but really should have been a two-star. It was dingy, dark and falling apart. Its good for those travelling on a budget but don't expect anything more than a hot shower and a blanket.
I required a hotel within 10 minutes of the airport, with its own shuttle bus (not shared with another establishment), a coffee maker in the room, clean and reasonably quiet. This motel had all these things. It is definitely good value for money. The cost of my single room was comparatively cheaper than other motels near the airport,. I had read the very poor review of this hotel in Skoosh,... more
Improvement opportunities: 1) Breakfast with the room rate could be little better one.Like may be adding some fruits with the other itemslike egg and toast. They were charging 3.99 for an egg and slice of bread, so if added on the rom rate breakfast, it would be at the cost of 3.99 more, but think about the ratings and reviews this hotel would get. 2) Improve the parking garage situation if... more
I highly recommend this Hotel to all who wants to stay in. It's definitely worth staying their for the money you spend. I don't have any negatives and I really thankful to Skoosh who made me hassle free stay. Thank you once again.
Pretty hard to find a place under 100 dollars in or around Vancouver these days, so this was a real bargain. As long as you don't mind thin sheets, lumpy pillows and a slightly run down appearance in the bathroom, things will be fine. No problems with noise, the front desk was very friendly and helpful (but remember to bring a copy of your Skoosh reservations - it was the first thing they... more
The hotel is situated on dirty, non styled grounds. Some of the outer areas in the lobby and mezzanine were simply dirty and filthy. It was ok to stay there, but I will not stay there again. It does not meet the level of standard of the kinds of hotels rooms I book.
Very reasonable rates , food was good in the restaurant, room was clean , service very good. If you need a room at a good price , close to everything I recommend the Super 8 Vancouver.
Super 8 Vancouver , stayed for the Canucks game great price close to everything! After being soaked by BC ferries
We are very happy with the hotel and the service . Parking is great for when we are traveling and then shuttle service to the airport. Have been telling our frends about the place.
Great Airport hotel for the price. Pick up & drop off at Airport was included in price & very good. (In our case they got us to use a taxi then reimbursed us the cost). Large room with 2 double beds. Good breakfast included. (cereal, waffels, muffins etc). Close to public transport to downtown. Will stay again if flying to/from Vancouver.
Larger rooms; easy access/free parking; personable staff--nothing fancy. Older hotel; old furnishings, BUT good location and good price for the area.
The hotel was comfortable, the room a most satisfactory value. Required services were a very short walk away. I was away early in the morning, and the morning clerk was pleasant and assured I had a shuttle to the airport. I would recommend Quality Inn, Marine Drive, Vancouver
My wife and I stayed here on two separate nights now and, at only $69 plus tax--which is low cost-wise for Vancouver--we found it rather overpriced. 1.) Free shuttle from the Vancouver airport. However, the shuttle only dispatched from the hotel after a call from the airport. This meant a wait of 30 minutes or more. It probably would have been just as quick to take a bus. Return trips to the... more
Stayed there for one night ( thnk God! it's only a night)...The patio door in our room wont close, so we have to deal with the noise outside all night! terrible place to stay..the room was cold all night!..wont stay there again! Charged us for 89 dollars /night could have gotten a better room at a cheaper price with Ramada Metrotown... more
Too far from the airport. We could not understand how it could be called an airport hotel. It took us ages to get their attention and reach someone to pick us up at the airport (2 hours. The driver smelled of alcohol and we were afraid we will never arrive safe. Our room had a stinky smell that prevented us from falling asleep. We had to leave very early in the morning for the shuttle... more
The Service was awful. I had a reservation which i booked through LASTMINUTE Travel.com and these guys cancelled my valid reservation after i showed them all details ( truely desi mentality)
I was there in April 2005 for 6 days. I found this hotel great and it was not expensive. The lobby was under construction but the front desk was very helpful. There was shuttle to and from the airport, continental breakfast included and I thought the room was great. I would certainly go back again.
24-hour complimentary shuttle bus to and from the airport. Casino, Bar, 10 bin Bowling Alley, Gift Shop and ATM on the premises.
