Don't be fooled by the neighbours

On a strip of Dougall Avenue, surrounded by truck stops, no-tell motels, fast-food restaurants and adult retail outlets - sits The Stonecroft Inn. Those are the only negatives about the hotel.

Awesome Place

I just came back from a great weekend away and stayed at the Stonecroft Inn. My Manfriend found this place by looking on this site and I am glad he did. The location of this Inn was great and just a short drive to the Tunnel where you can cross the border into Detroit.

Everything was excellent. We had a king bed room with a kitchen including cooktop, microwave and bar fridge. Obviously recently renovated. A small table with 2 chairs was a nice addition. Sitting area with couch and TV that was visible from the bed as well.

Three day stay
August 12, 2014We visited the Stonecroft Inn in mid July. I can't say enough about it. Clean, renovated rooms. The bed was the best I have ever slept in. Continental breakfast was free, and consisted of cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee and tea. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Convenient to downtown. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Windsor
June 10, 2014You will not be disappointed!!!! We stayed there for two nights while fishing for MUSKY on the Detroit River. Caught a 5 incher. I stayed in room 228. Fully equipped kitchen, stainless steel appliances, granite counters, nice lighting fixtures (just missing dish cloths and hand towels for clean up).

The rooms at the Stonecroft Inn have been recently renovated, and it shows. All the furnishings are modern, comfortable and clean and the fancy wallpaper, carpets and fixtures are also great. There's a flatscreen TV facing the bed.

Good price, clean. A good find
April 14, 2014I was in windsor teaching a class at the university and was not able to get a room at Caesars. In a pinch, I booked this place and hoped for the best. Hidden gem for sure
