I really wanted to like this place since it is within walking distance from my house. The beer selection is good but the food has never been more than 2/5. Service is standard.
The wings, though, which should be excellent at a place like this, need a lot of work in both chicken selection and sauce selection.
I actually haven't been back since last spring when they decided to play the NBA...

Terrible service and the food was cold when it got to the table. Severely disappointing. Not nearly the same experience as it was a few years ago. Lots of other good places nearby
We came in for a quick meal before the Kitchener Rangers game. It was a fairly busy crowd for a Sunday afternoon. At the time we arrived, there was 1 bartender and 1 waitress for the entire restaurant. They were clearly busy. Staff were friendly and trying their best to be attentive, which I appreciated. The waitress was quite busy, so the bartender came over to take our order. We had Buffalo... more
For bar food this place ranks near the bottom for me. As a family restaurant try something else. If its for getting together with your hockey or baseball team for post game beer and wings...maybe.
If you want to hang out with your team after a game and have a beer and wings, this is fine. Standard sports bar with a mildly expensive menu. The huge number of different wing flavours makes them interesting but they are not good enough to make it worth it.
The most distinguishing thing from me trip was that everything came with fries. The wings weren't even memorable. Meh. Not a repeat visit kind of place
I have been here many times and never been disappointed. The wings are great and so is the quantity!
My wife and I went for dinner on a Saturday evening, and because of a bad experience the previous week at a different bar and grill, we weren't expecting much. I had Guinness to start, and my wife had a diet pepsi. Her Pepsi was flat and watered down when it arrived, so we let the waitress know, and she... more
It is located more in an office industrial area and not generally where we go to eat. By chance we went for dinner and the food was really tasty. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the service was very good.
Great food and drinks atmosphere was spot on. Will be back for more!
Went as part of a business group. This is a typical "roadhouse" style pub. Part of a chain. The food is formula but good comfort food. Wings and ribs seem to be the house specialites but many other options are on the big menu. It was realtively quiet for lunch which made it good for a business group of 8.... more
St. Louis Bar and Grill is the neighbourhood place for Chicken Wings and Beer.
I was there with a buddy of mine and we had the Wing Platter and a pint of Grasshopper (an excellent wheat beer from Alberta, it was on draft) and both were excellent.
Service was fast and friendly, and the free Wi-Fi was definitely a plus. The establishment is close to RIM Park and on this visit there were lots of...

Ive been here more than once because it's close. One thing is guaranteed - if you're not at the bar, expect a serious lack of service. Some waitresses have bad attitudes, but they ALL have zero interest in walking over to a table. It's almost comical that it repeatedly happens. Who's managing this place?
Food is acceptable, nothing special but...

Decent wings and BBQ. Expensive beer and a terrible atmosphere for anything other than watching the game. Amazingly, it is impossible to order any food without fries.
