This hotel is located on a very short street just off of the Old Port area of Old Montreal. Because of this, there was very little traffic and the usual street noises. The fastest check in I ever experienced. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Felt welcomed and free to roam. Spacious, clean and a great location. However, breakfast was a disaster. There aren't enough seats for hotel guests and there was only one person taking care of the breakfast area, including bussing, filling up the juice, coffee and food bins. The rest of the staff weren't really doing much. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

This one is good, but compared to most of European Marriotts looks more bleack and worn off. Breakfasts are little bit on below the average what you usually expect from the chain. Centrally located in Old Montreal within walking distance from key points of business travellers' focus of interest.

The rooms were spacious and clean. As a business traveller I appreciated the quietness of the hotel and the tasty breakfast. This hotel is walking distance from many restaurants and a park. The downside is that valet parking was about $20 a night which makes it less of a value. I wouldn't mind staying here again though.

Perfect gateway hotel to the city

As a first time traveler to the city, I found the hotel perfectly placed to view the city. Situated just off Rue Saint Laurent, it gives a direct line through the city to allow you to easily get around. The room was larger than expected and very well kept. we came to visit some family, and chose this location for off the beaten path.it was near downtown, few minutes walk from transportation. don't let the pictures of the hotel fool you, its not the actual street it's on. but a block over to what it looks like a back alley way. great for privacy.there is also complimentary breakfast, for those on a budget.

This is my second trip to Montreal. My family and I enjoyed our short stay at Spring hill suites, the rooms are clean and spacious, their staff is very friendly and the location is great (right in the vieux port district).It's fair to say that I had much better time at this hotel than at a fancier hotel in the business district last year.

Had a strang man at my door that would not go away. He was beating on the door and requesting loudly that I open. Contacted front desk and was told it must be housekeeping, I informed that it was not. They finially sent someone up (housekeeping). Don't think we could have found a better location for our stay in Old Montreal. We could walk to everything. Was a great location for our departure on the Maasdam. We could have walked to the Iberville pier except it would have been a little difficult getting our lugguage down the hill.
