One bite from one of these burgers, made right before your eyes, with your own toppings, specialty sauces and fries, and you will keep coming back every time your in town.
If you can eat a burger and fries and you are still hungry, I'd be surprised, but if you did have room, they have the best fix, they are not called splitz grill for nothing, try the spilt it will top you over.
From beef to wild salmon, chicken, Italian sausage, free-range bison, organic turkey and signature spicy lentil burgers, fun starts in the Garnish area as you direct cooks to start piling on toppings and homemade sauces galore. Balance the grease with a Caesar or greek salad, or keep the vitamin G flowing with onion rings and house cut fries. Finish with ice cream floats and sundaes, and... more
We both went for the bison burgers (I had it with cheese and grilled pineapple and my girlfriend had it with bacon and grilled mushrooms).
We both had the special splitz sauce and she also had the baba ganoush.
I used 2 napkins - she used the other 13 as her burger was so juicy that she had juices running...

Splitz Gill is a must do every time that we are in Whistler.
For a change, rather than eating in, we ordered to go and had a picnic on the way home from Whistler.
They offer a variety of different types of burgers - bison, turkey, chicken, beef, vegetarian, etc. You get to choose the toppings for your freshly grilled...

We were surprised Spritz was a counter-order menu. The burger is seasoned fabulously and made however you want and with whatever toppings you want. A little expensive. Tables setup behind the resteraunt offer a nice break from the Whistler chaos.
We went in search of dessert and the banana split from here was recommended. That was all that we ate and I am not normally a banana split fan, but this was to die for. We started with one between two, but had to get a second one. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
It is off main street in the village. It is not on the main walk where the shops are, it's close to the market and KFC. This place makes great burgers. You let them know as they are making it what you want on it. It takes a while to get the burgers but worth it. They have great fries.... more
I have been to splits a few times and they never seem to disappoint me. I like how I can create my own burger and everything tastes great. The only downside is that it can be pricy.
There isn't much better than this if it's a great home made burger you're looking for. Customize with some cool toppings. One of our best meals in Whistler. Enjoy!
We stopped here for dinner while in Whistler for the day and we were so stuffed when we left that we couldn't eat for the remainder of the evening!
The burgers here are unique, and you have such a variety of toppings to put on your burger that it's unreal. Being a vegetarian, I had the Lentil burger and was...

I lived in Whistler for over four years from 2002 to 2006 and probably had over a hundred Splitz Burgers over the course of those years. On a recent trip up to Whistler, I couldn't resist the temptation to have another one, and it was better than what I remembered. The ingredients are fresh and the splitz sauce enhances the... more
Lamb, salmon, chicken, beef, and bison burgers with all the toppings you can think of. Great crispy fries as we'll.
Splitz Grill exceeded our expectations:
Positives
- friendly service
- reasonable prices
- very high quality meat
- unique approach to burgers: after you pick you meat, you move down the line a pick from a large number of toppings and sauces
- the burgers were really tasty
Negatives
- restaurant atmosphere was acceptable but not great.
Overall this is...

Best burger in Whistler. Tons of burger toppings for chose from. Beef tender and melts in your mouth. Bread was awesome also. Glad we didn't miss this one. On Main Street in Whistler Village.
love the variety of things they can burger-ize and the hand doen fires and the Splitz sauce--always eat here at least once every trip
Whenever we go to Whistler, on the drive up, we talk about what we are planning on doing. Splitz Grill is always on the list. Great fresh burgers with options for everyone. I highly recommend trying these burgers if you haven't already.
If you want a no-frills and hearty feed, try Splitz Grill. Really delicious burgers, with fresh ingredients. We also thought the shakes were some of the best we've had.
The burgers are delicious (tried the salmon and lamb) and you are able to choose as many fillings (sauces and salad) as you like.
Friendly staff are happy to make suggestions on the best combinations to go with your chosen burger.
Second best burgers I've had (after Fergburger in Queenstown New Zealand)
We had the Legendary and Lentil burgers and they were both delicious! Once you pay for your order, you select your veggies and sauces that you want on your burgers and then they'll call your name once the burgers are all ready. We'll definitely go back!
Best burgers ever! Great stop for lunch or dinner. Every time is made fresh, splitz sauce is amazing.
Arrived late evening into Whistler looking for a quick, tasty, filling snack. We plumped for burgers at Spitz and were not disappointed. Freshly cooked patties. Choice of toppings (i had bacon & cheese, with sauce, salsa, chillis, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles). Fries were fab - properly cooked and tasty. Good portion sizes. We'll be back.
We come here whenever we visit Whistler and always have a great burger. The setup is that you order your basic burger at a counter then it's cooked to order and you can choose the toppings, sauce etc.
Basically, if you like burgers, you won't get a better one than at Splitz! Very good chips as well

A very informal and down to earth canteen style burger bar, where you get to create your own burger. You choose and pay for the burger of your choice, then walk along the counter (Subway style) choosing the toppings, sauces and salad items you want to include. Tee burgers here are excellent and the staff is pleasant but the place needs a facelift and they need to pay more attention to garbage collection (can was overflowing on a not especially busy night) and the appearance of the food prep areas (messy, things half-done).
Burgers are great. Toppings are great. But be prepared for a not so great seating atmosphere-a bit like a lodge. This is a great place for families with kids (young or old).
The staff was very helpful. They explained the optional sauces and veggies. Additionally I hear about their previous recognition, staff was very proud of the food, which
was just yummy!
We stayed at the four seasons and ate at some really fine places, but this was my favourite, the best $30 we spent. Ok the queue wasn't fun but when we finally got to the end and collected our burgers it was well worth the wait and grubby tables!
Splitz offers a whole range of burgers with the option to add your own combinations of sauces and toppings. I had a bison burger, which was really tasty. The staff were fantastically friendly and fun. Well recommended.
We went to Splitz based on TI reviews and weren't sorry! Easy to order, delicious burgers! I had the grilled chicken which was awesome. The man behind the condiment/sauce counter suggested excellent sauces for the sandwich! There was a little bit of line, but it was well worth it! Its hard to rate it on value because, compared to the... more
If you are a meat fan, be sure to eat one of these while in Whistler. Their signature Splitz sauce is really awesome, and worth getting a little extra to dip your fries in! You get to add whatever toppings you want to your burger and pile it high.
We felt like burgers and had not tried Splitz before. After reading the reviews, we checked it out.
There are many choices, the gal at the order station recommended the Basic Splitz Beef burger.
All in all it was very tasty. Worth a try to then make your own decision.
We had Bison burgers that were really good with the fries. It is cool to see cooks prepare your burger in front of you and you are able to choose sauce and veggies.
Bad thing is the queue system. First you have to queue to order and then you have to queue to get your food. For us this meant...

Unformal place with great burgers at a good price. Lots of different things to put on top - and good beers from the bottle
We make it a "must-do" for every Whistler trip: go to Splitz. Fresh quality ingredients, friendly staff, burgers cooked to order with a wide range of options.
Massive hamburgers with loads of options in terms of condiments. I've tried the beef and lamb, both were yummy. Ordering seems a little confusing the first time so go with someone who has been before or copy the person in front of you in line. Pricey for a hamburger but you defiantly get your monies worth.
Quick and high quality food. One night I had a beef, lamb and cheese wrap...superb. Good to dine in or take out.
This is always one of our favorite stops in Whistler. The crew are friendly and helpful and the burgers are marvelous!! But the top item is always trying to save room for their marvelous banana splits with fresh carmelized bananas! It's out of this world!!! It took three of us last night to finish mine off.
Title says it all! best burgers ever! made fresh to order with whatever you like! bison burger was a fave! surely a must do!
Great find....this place does awesome burgers....of all different meat variations...chicken, bison, fish, steak, hot dogs....just delicious and great value for money!
Top marks for this consistently excellent Burger joint. I grabbed a burger and fries and took back to my suite. I love the customization possibilities. They have it all. Burger is delicious.
The burger is very nice, you can choose all the toppings and sauces and create your own sandwich.
A lot of great toppings, quickly and friendly service!
After a full day on the slopes of whistler, but traveling as a family, we were looking for something that wasn't a pub and didn't just attract everybody right off the slopes. Tasty burgers with choice of meat, bun, veggies and toppings - cooked to order. There is a seating area in the back. Worth a visit.
Excellent staff and brilliant burgers. But note that this is a very casual setting. Ie no table services (order at the counter) and a very young clientele.
We had the lamb burger and it was delicious - was nice to choose from a variety of toppings. Also, they have multi-grain buns! Fries were tasty as well.

There are so many options to create whatever flavor of burger you can think of (blue cheese and feta cheese would make great menu additions though). My husband and I both got Splitz burgers with bacon and cheese. You must try the Splitz sauce! It is outstanding. The fries are also very delicious. Service was very friendly. We went in expecting an average burger and was pleasantly surprised to find that the Splitz burger was more than average! We would highly recommend trying out Splitz Grill!
Not the best burgers I've had in my life.... you'd need to go South of the border for that, but still excellent value for money and a hundred times better than any chain :)

go with the lamb burger--buffalo is becoming common now lamb is still a find.
might want to teach the staff that if there are multiple bottles of ketchup on a table that means AT LEAST one of them was empty. EVERY table was stealing ketchup from another table in order to find some!
"""Great """"tailor made"""" burgers. There are almost too many choices so you need to have a strategy. As a first-timer it was difficult to see at first that the real choices of toppings came AFTER having ordered and payed. The seating area could have been nicer """
We had heard reviews about Splitz as being one where the locals go - it took us a bit to find it - and it did not disappoint -wonderful burgers
A hole in the wall on a side street serving the Best Burgers in Whistler. Creative burgers with dazzeling choice.
A casual dining experience. You can choose from gourmet chicken or
beef burgers and pair them with fries and onion rings or a helping of
poutine. Chicken, salmon, Italian sausage, lentil and veggie patties
are prepared daily with fresh ingredients. Offers more than 20 different
sauce varieties, toppings you pick yourself and a complete kids menu.
Splitz has some of the best burgers on the planet. They have some
of their own special sauces. You will likely make a mess of yourself
as the juicy burgers and sauces make for a drippy combination.
It is all very healthy stuff too - well, as healthy as a burger can
be, eh.
Best Burger Joint in a Mountain Resort in North America. Great

Huge burger and amazing fries!
We found the Splitz Grill on our second-to-last evening in town. We were walking around and decided to take a peek at the menu. How about a lentil burger or garlic prawn and fresh mango wrap? We decided to... more
Splitz Grill is probably one of the best values is Whistler.
