Fine if you need soup at home in a hurry, however the kitchen here is not consistent. Vegetable soups are best; chicken and beef not so flavourful and the fish chowder is not the city's best. Pleasant service.
My family does not frequently visit Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver, but in our most recent trip, tired from several hours of walking around the Quay market concourse, we decided to eat something light. Drawing to our attention is the Soup Meister - we did not know why there was quite a line-up to the place, but we soon found... more
This place alone makes a trip to the Lonsdale Quay market worth you while. Terrific soups and a great supply of fresh and frozen stock to to take home.
You wont be coming here for a full meal but when you need a quick bowl of incredibly good soup in a very relaxed environment this is your place. It is located in the Lonsdale Quay shopping concourse and appeals primarily to those wanting to take home made soup home for a meal. Variety is amazing. Four types of soup... more
A soup stand, nothing more, nothing less, except delicioussoups to pick from and a dozen or more in the fridge as take-away. I have personal favourites like Lion Ranch, Turkey Milanese, Cock-a-Leekie, and the very good Seafood Soup.
Each are simply served in a small (not that small) bowl, or large bowl with a fresh bun. Sit in the common...

OMG. Had two different soups (Roy' beef n bean with veggies and Lentils vegetarian) which were exceptional.
Part of the Lonsdale Quay Market in North Vancouver this little soup factory makes their soup on site. There are a few options to choose from in the vast selection of soups: Hot soup ready to eat and served on site; cold soup...

We go here regularly and have never been disappointed! The best soup around! Always different choices and they also have items for sale in take hone containers. We once sat with one of the employees and this young guy raved about how this kiosk was run! Everything comes in fresh, the staff are all trained, and are treated well.
We wanted a light lunch while visiting Lonsdale Quay and were delighted to find the Soup Meister. We both had the split pea with ham and it came with a fresh wholewheat bun and butter. A large bowl of soup and the bun were filling and warming on a rainy day. Wish we had one in Victoria!
we had three chicken vegetable soups. One had a hair in the soup. we got a replacement, but lost our appetite. the taste was average anyway. The Chowder could have been a better choice.
Just wish we had this place on our doorstep! Soups were delicious and served with a fresh crusty roll. There is a wonderful selection to choose from and some great combinations! Frozen and chilled portions available to take away which is a great option if you're staying upstairs in the hotel.
If you find yourself in Lonsdale Quay, step away from the food court (which does have some good options) and try this place. Always a good selection of soups. That's all they do - and they do it well. Can purchase pre-portioned refridgerated or frozen tubs to bring home.
The soups are always terrific - they're made fresh each day (you can see them being prepared behind the counter). I've never encountered a soup here I didn't like - their carrot ginger soup is one of my favourites.
They also have fresh and frozen soups (and stocks) for sale. I usually take a few soups home with me for...

Stopped to have lunch while at the Quay. The soup was absolutely chock a block full of fresh vegetables, beans, chicken, and chorizo. A small bowl and a hearty roll were more than enough for me. I even visited the freezer and made a take home choice for another day. So many different soups, they all look wonderful. Absolutely delicious!
Wonderful soups with interesting flavours. The coconut squash soup is particularly delicious. Really reasonably priced with a choice of bread to go with it. You can see the soups being prepared with really fresh ingredients. Such efficient service with the soup being ready within seconds no matter how busy they are. And they are really popular......deservedly so! Well done, Soup... more
We do take out soup about once a month, always great from this location. Also get it on site sometimes. Good value
It is the best soup I have ever had! I have eaten at Meisters many times and have never had a soup I didn't love. The service is friendly and very effecient.
I want one in Ottawa, sooo good. Wholesome taste at reasonable price. I only had the chance to taste the Tuscany soup. It wa great.
