The brunch here is amazing. Expensive, but great. They also bring you these awesome pastry baskets that I quite enjoyed. I was surprised that when I got the steak and eggs (this being a steakhouse) that the steak was much less tender than I expected, especially for the price. Inedible food. They make no attempt to fix the issue without making me wait too long. Very frustrating and very disappointed. Stay away. Good waitress though. But just awful, awful experience. Will tell all friends to stay away.

We love this place and the wonderful food they serve ... so much so that we had our small wedding reception there for Brunch. I definitely recommend it to all others, though the main room could use a little style up-date, it's still quite nice inside.

Really great food in a fancy place.

Prime rib deal was solid. The vegetarian lasagna was really fancy.

I'm giving 4/5 because for the prices it doesn't feel fancy ENOUGH. And that is very hard to explain, but it really has a 'waterloo' feel to it. Like Famoso (not fancy I know, but its that darn Waterloo style).

Taste of food was perfection

I took my mom and dad (and fiance) to this restaurant to celebrate both Mother's Day and my dad's birthday. Appetizers and the entrees were phenomenal; taste of everything was just right. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food. The restaurant environment was nice, but nothing special though. Definitely go for the food :)

New go to spot

Excellent selection of wines and appetizers. We ordered steamed mussels, arancini, beef carpaccio, baked goat cheese and ahi tuna. Everything was spot on delicious. We also ordered half a liter of white and red wine. Great selections and service. Def will go back.

Solé is one of those places where you can count on a very good meal and excellent service. A little Noisy and Pricey

The food was plentiful and delicious, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Staff were attentive and professional. However, thought the prices were a little on the high side for this location and selection. Unfortunately we sat near a large birthday party so intimate conversation above the levity was out of the question.

Wonderful evening at Sole

My sisters and I took my mother for her 75th birthday. Service and food were excellent and they even brought out a special dessert plate for Mom with Happy Birthday written in chocolate. Thanks to Sole for making the evening extra special.

While food continues to be very good service is still a little slow. Improved from the 2 hours for lunch on our last visit in March but still took 1 1/2 hours for a business lunch in a quite empty restaurant. Fantastic Birthday Dinner with the personal touch

My wife surprised me with a visit to Sole for my birthday. It is located in the old Segrams Distillery building in Waterloo. Warm atmosphere, great service, great food and artful presentation

The interior of this restaurant features beautiful woodwork, beautiful copper vats and more. The menu featured upscale dishes, that were prepared wonderfully and presented with real flair. Most importantly, they were delicious. The coffee I had with dessert wasn't that great, but it hardly spoiled the rest of the dinner.

Wonderful atmosphere and food. we all had the chef's special of braised short ribs over cheddar polenta and racini. It all melted in your mouth. The ribs were off the bones. Nice menu selection wish we weren't too full for dessert as the selection coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. Large portions. will definitely be back.

i dine here often the food is usually good. The Arancini ( fried risotto balls) are delicious and the beef carpaccio is usually good. My significant other had the Braised Veal Osso Bucco Tower which was pretty good the veal was a bit bland though but thats my opinion
