Tourist Trap

THis Revolving Dining Room is the worst food I've ever eaten. The service is bad, the wait is long, and overall, not a good experience. Overpriced, terrible pre-packaged quality, pathetic portions.

The most romantic place in the world. I celebrated my anniversary there. My husband and I were so happy. If you want to get there quickly you better make reservations and pay your ticket online. It was packed- so packed; the line was so long that reached the street. The wifi in the gift shop is free. Theres no wifi in the tower.

Just came back from niagra falls with my wife, and had dinner at Skylon Tower. Not enjoying heights myself, the elevator ride up was tough for me to take. However, the rotating restaurant affords you magnificent views of all Niagra Falls! The food was above average. We had the prime rib which was soft and tasty. View 5 star; Meal 3 stars. Exactly what I expected. Better view than eating at the Towers of the Americas in San Antonio, Texas. There are buffet and sit down dinner levels. Depending on where you are staying on the Canadian side, you will want to try to get to the tower while losing as little elevation as possible. The slope down to the river is pretty steep depending on which hotel you are... more

Over all experienced was good. Don't expect too much from this place just a nice decent buffet/dinner with the family. You'll get 90 mins at the buffet. After that head upstairs to look at the view stay as long as you want.

With a meal we got the free ride, and my daughter really wanted to experience the revolving restaurant. The view was spectacular as we were seated, and waiter brought drink and bread. So far so good. Then we waited and waited and waited - well we didn't really mind as we were busy taking pictures and surveying the earth. It is also July 4th so we were patient.

You definitely are paying for the view at this restaurant. The food is good but not justified by the price. However, with that being said, it's a tourist attraction, so know that going in.

There really needs to be different listings for the tower. The base of the tower houses an arcade and giftshop and more that I didn't check out, the towers top level is the observation deck (about $10 with the $2 coupon you can find just about anywhere), the level below that is a rotating restaurant, and the level below that is a buffet.
