Simply awful !!!
simply awful !!!
my 8yr old cocker spaniel spent all day in a crate that was covered with a blanket and came home with an uneven haircut - his ears were uneven and so were his eyebrows.
when i called to discuss my unhapiness with the haircut she was rude and hung up on me.
i will not go back !!! terrible haircut and service!!!
They ARE Simply The Best
ABSOLUTLY the Best Dog Grooming Salon in Toronto, they now offer Play care as well, No more sitting in a cage getting stressed out waiting for mom to come get me, I can play all day with Val's pups, no extra charge when combined with a groom and only $20 a day if I just want to go have fun. Hannah
Absolutely great
Charlie, my 9 month old Havanese, goes to see Val and the gang every week and can't wait to get up the stairs to see all his friends. The salon is not fancy but it is warm and comfy and, best of all, the dogs play with each other rather than being stuck in crates. The grooming is first rate and the people ande dogs I see are all happy. Charlie highly recommends Simply the Best
Not coming back
Although I've been told otherwise, I don't think Valerie actually likes dogs. From the first time I spoke to her on the telephone, I got the sense that she was quite abrasive. Against my "gut feeling", I brought my pup in and meeting her only confirmed my telephone impression of her. She's not one of those warm fuzzy people. But she did give a good cut but at $60 for a puppy cut (yup!!!) I'm going to find someone closer to me, cheaper and much more accomodating to me and my pup.
I've never been treated so horribly.
I used to take my dog here for grooming. They do an excellent job, and the assistants are very friendly. The owner, however, was unbelievably rude and unfriendly on several different occasions. I only needed grooming about once or twice a year and returned hoping it was just a "bad day" for her... but she was inexplicably horrid even though I was always polite, prompt, and my dog was well behaved. I stopped going because I realized I really didn't need the unnecessary abuse.

My dog always comes out looking like a star. Very reasonably priced, always friendly and best grooming in Toronto.

My husband and I had just moved to Toronto from New York 3 months ago with our small puppy and were not looking forward to having to find our new go-to spots. After meeting the owner in Ramsden Park, we decided to pay Simply the Best a visit, especially after getting very pricey quotes for grooming in the area.

Val and her team of girls are great with all my Bichons. They all love Val and the special attention she gives each one of them. They are all excited when they see her and I know they will look awesome when she is done. With absolutely no hesitation I recommend Simply The Best Dog Gone Salon to all my friends & clients.

The name says it all: "Simply the Best" dog grooming in the city, at very competitive prices. Grooms my purebred dog beautifully, as compared to other "hack jobs" from so-called other grooming places.

Val is by far the best groomer in the city! I am a veterinarian, so have seen many! I am also very impressed with her knowledge. My standard poodle loves her, and agrees to her once a month visit, as she knows she is in good hands!

Impatient groomer who did not organize her grooming schedules, causing herself to be all stressed out with the line of dogs waiting to be groomed.
Fellow co-workers also don't communicate or help each other with the handling of animals.
Very disappointed.
