Stay with Children

Good hotel, expensive internet

The hotel room was good, there was an excellent view and lots of space, but the Sheraton charges $15/day for internet access (wired and wireless). It can also be quite noisy on weekends, as it's a popular hotel for people partying downtown.

Great location, pleasant stay

The hotel is in a great location to explore the city. We stayed for one night, with a view over City Hall. The standard double room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Staff were also friendly and efficient. The only cons were that the air in the room was dry and there's a wifi charge. We did not try the hotel bar/restaurant etc.

We visited the Opera Atelier performance of Alcina, and the COC performance of Madama Butterfly on Saturday and Sunday (mattinee). The hotel is in between, and most convenient for walking to both. A very good night, but the restaurant leaves something to be desired.

I had a very pleasant experience staying at the hotel. At the time of our stay the scotia bank marathon was taking place, I would recommend for future events the hotel staff inform all guests of road closures etc as I/we weren't forwarned and had considerable difficulty leaving area Other than that I have no complaints

Slow staff

stayed there two weekends in a row and card key wouldn't work both times. Staff took half an hour to come up and fix problem. Asked to speak to a manager and still never saw one. Unacceptable when you have reservations other places and can't get into your room and no one will come and help

nice hotel, but not of the standard we expected

despite requesting a high room in our booking made well in advance, were given a room in the old part of the hotel on 5th floor! Room was nice, however bed creaked considerably and so caused a disrupted sleep. Gym was in the other part of the hotel, and so not convenient to get to from the old part.

Centrally located to everything. Basic rooms but overall ok for a couple of nights. Hotel was clean but seemed a bit dark and drabby in certain areas. Except for the fact that the valet service considerably damaged our van by trying to fit it in too small of a space, our family of 4 had a great stay here! the view was great and the pool was even better. the front desk was polite, the continental bkfst with starbucks brand coffee! was reasonable, and everywhere is accessible with modes of transportation. Lacking in all areas

The hotel was impressive on entrance. Once in the room, it was small and mediocre. It had no fridge which I concider pretty standard. The cable did not work properly, I called downstairs to have someone come and fix it and they said they would send someone, but no one ever came. Overall bery disapponting.

Low quality of service

I was very disappointed with this hotel. I have never had these bad experiences in hotel. Some lamps didn't connect with outlets. We didn't have enough bath and hand towels. Although I asked a women of the front desk to bring it, they didn't bring.. My family said they didn't want to stay it again.

Comfortable but ..

A large hotel in centre if town. Experience not helped by having the Amway conference staying there. Bed and room ok but no fridge and you have to pay for wi-fi which is pretty lousy considering what you pay for the room. If we came back would opt for something closer go the waterfront as a fair walk there.

Perfect Weekend getaway, Great Value!

We had a terrific experience at this hotel. My girlfriend and I found easy parking right across the street for the weekend and were able to walk to every attraction and restaurant. The accomadations are wonderful, if you sign up for their club you get club floor accomadations that are very nice. Special snacks and cocktails are served. Its a great experience.

The hotel accomodated all of my needs, including a very early (6am) check in. Rooms on the City Hall side of the hotel are much nicer than those in the other tower. Beds in the hotel were very comfortable.

Unique Quality: The hotel has a spa as well as an indoor/outdoor pool. In the center, there is also a garden with waling paths ans waterfalls.

Great Downtown Toronto Location

The hotel is very well located for everything in the center of the city. At the moment they are doing some renovations to the exterior, which make the drive up entrance a bit chaotic, but they are also offering great deals on the rooms to compensate.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Parking is very expensive, but if you park at Nathan Phillips Square across the street it's much cheaper and easy underground access to the hotel.Only complaint is that they spray the lobby with a strong old lady feeling perfume that instantly gives you a headache. I could only be in the lobby for short periods of time.

Skoosh provided tremendous value for this hotel. It is well appointed. Has comfortable beds. It was close to shopping, dining and theatre. Parking at hotel was valet only, but municipal underground parking across the street provided easy access to the hotel at half the cost if valet.

Sheraton Hotel is a very nice hotel. Very centrally located to all sites of Toronto. Check-in was fast for a Saturday afternoon. Has several dining/drinking options in its entire property. I came for a business trip. The fact that wifi in the room is additional charge makes me furious. It's like a fly in the ointment, and the rest of this hotel is, indeed, an ointment.The location is very central, close to PATH, eaton center and the subway system. Centrally located and attached to a mall it was a great location. The value was great as well.

Central Location

I was very pleased with this hotel. Its greatest asset is its location. I was able to visit the bulk of the main attractions in Toronto by foot rather than having to drive around and find a place to park the vehicle.

We stayed at this hotel during the MLS Cup in Toronto. We had an easy time getting around the area, and the hotel was comfortable, clean, and quiet. We would definitely considering staying here for future visits to the area.

The room was comfortable and good sized. The location made for an enjoyable trip, easy access to underground shops and dining with ice skating across the street. The heated pool was indoor/outdoor and was very popular with everyone.There was a large internet cafe' within the large lobby.

Not a Four Star hotel

You can do much better than this hotel. It is not bad - but it is not good either. The hotel staff were completely indifferent to us on the various times of interaction. Front desk, Bell men, Concierge all made no effort on any request. The room for the price had issues, ceiling paint in bathroom was flaking, wall paper was peeling, etc. Look elsewhere.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in July 09. They had a * special which is amazing for a downtown hotel..especially when they are usually 200 and up. When we came back after shopping in the afternoon they had lemonade and a popcorn machine in the lobby...everything free. It was very good and the kids liked this alot. Stayed at the Sheraton for a week in May 2009. It was very noisy all the time, even through the night. Our first 2 nights, we heard a clunking sound all through the night. August 2008 stay

The hotel is currently under renovations and elevators are not available on the first floor. You have to trek up the escalator with your bags to catch the second floor elevator. Gym priviliges are not included in the base price. If you want to work out, be prepared to pay extra. The room was nice and hotel staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

Quick trip to Totonto

Front desk was friendly. Did not request any room service or visit the pool. It was below my window so I had a good view of it from the 17th floor. Overall this was an excellent hotel deserving of the 4 star rating. When returning to Toronto will definately stay here.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is central to everything in the city. The Sheraton recently completed a renovation of some of its public spaces such as the lobby. Go for the Pool

This is actually the second time I've now stayed at the Toronto Sheraton, and the second time I've enjoyed my visit. It's nothing too fancy, but the location is quite good and it has a never nice indoor-outdoor swimming pool that's long enough to swim laps and is frequently uncrowded.

The hotel was in a good location, but it was loud. From the North side of the hotel you could hear the rings of a bell tower. On the South side of the hotel, your hear doors slamming and street noise. We changed our room 3 times. The last time we just gave up. The rooms need to be updated. We arrived in Toronto the morning of July 8th and took the airport shuttle to the hotel which is a great deal, and a very nice bus. The hotel is very centrally located and has easy access to mass transit, but cabs are a bit pricey. My wife took me to Toronto for my birthday last August. I have to say the staff was very helpful during our stay. They even suggested many activities and local eateries that we had to try. Favorite hotel in Toronto

My family and I have stated at the Sheraton Centre more times than I can remember. This hotel is located in the middle of everything. In less than a minute you can be in the Eaton Center by using the PATH. The staff has always been helpful and the rooms always maintained well. The beds are comfortable.

a bit noisy

this hotel is not bad, but there is noise happening all throughout the day. You can hear water running through their pipes. This hotel offers great customers service and parking is a bit expensive($35 a day ). You could park the car across from the hotel on Queen st. ( city hall parkinglot ) for $6 during the day on weekends of $12. But no in or out piverliges.

Paid For but NOT Delivered

We PREPAID for a ROOM; on arrival find NO ROOMS LEFT!! They put us in uncomfortable meeting room and 'offered' free breakfast. If we had not prepaid, we can go elsewhere. Absolutely SHAMEFUL for a Sheraton flagship hotel.

Expensive

For the cost of the room not many perks were included. Extra fees were charged for use of the room phone including 800 number calling cards. Extra fee was charged for use of exercise room and one could not take anything from the bar to their room, but had to order room service which had an extra $3.50 charge

Unbelivable

The view was amazing and the staff very accomidating. I went there with a buddy, and they tried to give us a single bed, they switched us at no cost. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing place

Bells hurt hotel

Great site, fine staff, excellent rooms, all fine except 1) church bells ring every hour, 24/7and2) some guests were middle-aged but apparently flashing back to fraternity days, making noise in halls at 2 a.m.

Perfect Location

We stayed here in November and everything was excellent. Airport Bus takes you right to the hotel and back. Very clean and attentive staff. Large Room with great views of City Hall.

Amazing Hotel

Hotel was more then we expected. Central location and entrance within hotel to Eaton Center was very convenient. Workout facitilies were very nice. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout.

Not bad

The rooms are great! They are wide with great city view windows. They are well kept with quality bedding. Desk clerk said they would send up a razor but never did. Hotel is connected to the Path and underground shopping, even a department store.
