Great trip, with unexpected charges

Just came back from using one of their 17' boats and had a blast. The area is gorgeous, the boats worked well, staff was friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. They go over the instructions and safety rules well, which helped us be more comfortable in the water.

A fun high speed boat ride and sightseeing of the Howe Sound Coastline

Least respectfull sailor on the bay
July 26, 2014The sailors at the command are the least respectful of the area. They ignore basic rules of navigation. In one outing the boat manage to almost ran over two kayaks, cut another boat against the small island with a lighthouse, and almost capsize a small boat at anchor that was peacefully fishing. they motored at full blast by the islands... more

June 01, 2014I rented a 17' boat from Sewell's. Everything was great, boat was there as reserved. They went over the safety stuff, and general boating instructions, I felt very comfortable. We cruised around for a little over an hour, was a lot of fun. It got a bit choppy at times, but it was easy to see and compensate speed accordingly.... more

An exhilarating ride

A friend from out of town and I were very pleased with our 80km ride zooming through the beautiful waters of Howe Sound. Although I live in the area I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the trip.

Rented a runabout
October 03, 2012We were disappointed that we could not go out in front of West Van. The trip around Bowen and other islands takes much longer than you think. The prevailing winds make any trip up Howe Sound a challenge. We did it anyway and the return trip took a long time.

Great Zodiac boat trip
August 31, 2012Fun boat trip and informatative boat trip. These boats are fast which the kids loved but the guide also took time to teach us about the area. Got very close to the seals sleeping on the islands and had a great view of some of the more impressive houses in West Vancouver.

July 15, 2012We hesitated to begin with but it turned out to be the best value experience we had on our holiday .Friendly staff.- so helpful getting us into our waterproof suits. So knowledgeable we learnt such a lot. The weather was kind to us .2 hours and perfect sunshine.

With moderately priced boat rentls, you can quickly and easily get out to see the coastline mountains and wildlife.
We rented for one hour and had no problem getting to a spot called Pam Rocks which is a bird sanctuary and where dozens of seals were sunning themselves.
Boats were in good shape it seemed.
