Scotts Inn has been my go to spot for breakfast for well past a decade... Everyone who visits with me inevitably becomes a regular as well. The service is excellent and food is great; the servers make a point of getting to know you and it is easily apparent that it is a family run business. I love this place!

Stayed here based on all the wonderful reviews. In the end you get what you pay for, which was an appealing rate but no sleep. Rooms had thin walls which made for a noisy night. The room wasn't all that clean either. However, the location was nice and the staff were friendly. I might come back to try the restaurant.

Comfortable night

We spent one night at Scott's Inn. The room was clean, spacious with large comfortable bed. The evening meal in the adjacent restaurant was disappointing with our main course served before we had finished our starters. However the next morning we enjoyed a good breakfast.

Scott's Inn is a few minutes from the downtown area and in a quieter, residential setting. Room was very clean and comfortable. Scott's has a funky restaurant with home-cooked meals at great prices. Breakfast Special $6:00! For travellers with small kids there is a safe, fenced park / play area across the road. I would stay here again.

Travelling from Calgary to Vancouver, and needed to find a room for one night. I found Scott's on Trip advisor. The room was extremely clean and well kept. We went to the restaurant for the free continental breakfast, but ended up ordering off the menu. The blueberry pancake was great.

100 CAD buys you an average room about 6 blocks from the centre.
The a/c is in desperate need of upgrading, since it emits noise like a starting 747.
Considering the Ramada is just 20 CAD more it might be worthwhile considering.

We were made to feel welcome after a long days cycle. The motel is very clean and well maintained and conveniently located close to downtown. The breakfast was very good. We would recommend the Inn to other cyclists. The only downside was our room was opposite the back entrance to the kitchen which was noisy at times.
