this place is so much fun and you can really let the kids run loose here - enjoy the live science shows
Lots of fun! and lots to do! Very interesting exhibits, changing often. Friendly staff.
The Saskatchewan Science Centre is home to the Powerhouse of Discovery and the Kramer IMAX Theatre. The first houses more than 80 thought-provoking and fun hands-on exhibits demonstrating basic scientific principles, ranging from a hot-air balloon that rises three stories in the central mezzanine to exhibits where you can test your strength, reaction time, and balance. The Kramer IMAX Theatre... more
My two youngest grandchildren ages three and six came visiting from Toronto. We, (both sets of grandparents) accompanied them to the Science Centre. The first stop was with the dinosaurs. What a great experience! At first the littlest was just a little afraid but quite soon was able to enjoy the moment. All to the credit of a young capable... more
The Science Center was fun and entertaining, but several exhibits need fixing. Things you are supposed to smell don't work, and computer screens that are involved just don't work.
The Science Museum is a hands on museum for kids. It is nicely done with some good interactive stations. It also has some agriculture themed exhibits. In our last few visits, there has been some changes to the exhibits.

I would not suggest this to families with kids much over 10. For the younger kids it is a great, interactive experience.
It's been a while since I've visited there but whenever I have gone in the past it's been great fun - kids love it and don't even realize how educational it is as well. There are also special adult nights.
It is right next door (attached) to the IMAX theatre another wonderful venue.
It's in Wascana Park which is beautiful...

The kids really enjoyed themselves. There was a wide variety of things to keep the kids interesting and exploring. The Imax was also very good.
I took my 4 yr old grandson here for the day and it was great! It was a weekday so it was pretty empty, and he had the run of the place! Lots of interactive things for him to do, and the staff was super friendly and engaging. I plan on taking him again soon!
We always find something new, different, exciting every time we go. It is a good way to involve kids in learning without them knowing it! This trip, a fire alarm went off from their onstage demonstration. We had to evacuate and wait outside until the fire department cleared the premises. As we were a school tour, we had other commitments... more
I've been to the Science Centre a number of times. The past trip was a disaster in regards to customer service. We had to wait 15 minutes to enter the centre because the only person on the till was "busy on the phone". Rude manners from him as we waited to get in. Nobody came and helped him as the... more
Live very close. Quite expensive. Changes occasionally. They really need to change it up a bit more if they want repeat visitors. Good for families with young kids, teenagers would be bored.
So much to do at the centre. So much fun and great to see so many people enjoying it. lots to see and do and learn from young to old. Lots of hands on things for kids to do!
We use to go here quite often the the kids were small. It is the best place to spend an afternoon. Displays are interactive, so everybody can take a turn
Special tours bring new and interesting things to see.
Now that the kids are grown. We attend the IMAX theatre .
Very good shows on the biggest screen
Lots to see and do and explore! Kids will have a great time here playing, learning, experimenting or watching a movie in the IMAX Theater. You can easily spend a whole afternoon (or morning) here. Very fun and interesting experience for children & adults alike!
There is a lot to do at the science centre. Kids learn a lot in the science part of it. The IMAX theatre is also great for the kids as they are documentaries and you can learn a lot from them .
For the money, it was a nice place to visit. Some interesting exhibits to be sure but some of them were broken and not working. A little more maintenance would be in order. The demos were good and the staff was friendly. Overall a good way to spend some time in Regina.
This museum is different from other science centers we visited. We recomend to visit it. My child liked their activities.
We opted for the combo pack of imax and then the science centre. We took our little girl and she was a bit young (1 yr old) but there are plenty of things to do for those 2 and up. THe imax theatre is great and the science centre is amazing for a smallish city. Way better than some in... more
Had a blast with kids aged 5,6 and 9. Lots to interest all of us. We didn't get there early enough so rushed a bit. Would be great if it stayed open until the IMAX movie started at 7pm.
This place is fun, the park outside is a nice touch and a highlight. Inside, they need to update much of the museum, many of the displays are the same I spent time at as a kid. The animation gallery was the best part inside of the museum.
Lots of fun for kids and parents. Would like to see some of the broken exhibits get fixed. A good variety for all ages.
I would recommend this for afternoon in was cans park easy parking popcorn also recommend IMAX theatre. The screen is five school buses long. Enjoy BillP Regina
There were plenty of hands on learning experiences to enjoy. I liked the hockey area where you are able to test your grip strength, running speed and more. Definitely glad that we took the time to visit here.
Lots to see, lots to do. Great for all ages. Many interactive displays. Demonstrations with audience participation. Learning and playing at the same time.
The Sask Science Centre is a must see for any visitor to the city of Regina. There are continual demonstrations, and the permanent exhibits range from blowing bubbles six feet in diameter to watching bats in their enclosed habitat, in the dark.
From time to time, a travelling exhibit will also be available to the public, and can be toured...

Wonderful, interactive experience - kids of all ages love it (including grandma and grandpa). One part of exhibit changes regularly; but much of it continues, and our grandson thinks that is wonderful. We kept a family pass for whenever the grandchildren were visiting.
One of the most interesting places to go in Regina. They always have new displays and some of the coolest exhibits. The rock climbing wall is a must.
This place sure gets one involved, and gets children playing and learning about how things work. The displays are always changing to keep things interesting for those who like to visit often.
There's something for the whole family at the Science Centre. Children are amazed by the science while they are having fun discovering. There is so much to see and do and to keep curious little ones interested and engaged.
Excellent museum. Maybe even as good as ours in Minneapolis. We have seen several hands-on, interactive science museums all over the world using our membership to the Science Museum of Minnesota. Never have I thought that any came close to being as good as our Minnesota museum until I saw this one. Very clever exhibits. Very well laid out with... more
We have taken our kids here numerous times. They loved going when they were younger. It was a great way to pass a rainy or cold day. In the summer they have a park area outside. unfortunately not a lot changes from visit to visit. The kids are older now so we haven't been for awhile. The Lego exhibit was... more
The science center is pricey for what you get...
Kids tend to get bored after 45 minutes
Could skip this one
Great place to take your children or grandchildren! Educational as well as fun for the children. There is also a great gift shop on the way out. If you like rock wall climbing that is also available.
This is a great place for kids up to the age of about 12.
All hands on. For adults great if you have kids with you otherwise not enough adult material.
It was okay for the kids and good for adults to walk around. But it should be less expensive for a family and may be only allow up to a certain number when its too busy to control the crowds. Have a coffee shop for adults or to wait for people.
Some of the exhibits are dated and in need of repair/ and/or replacement of missing parts. That said, still a fun family visit! Be sure to see the IMAX!
While we have been to the Vancouver Telus Science World and the Calgary Telus Science Centre, for the area this attraction was great for our grand daughters. We had taken them to the Calgary one three days before and then this one. They liked both but for different reasons. It was interesting to compare them all. Vancouver has a lot... more
great place for kids to learn and see lots of neat things that they don't get in school, schools should do more field trips there
Wonderful place to visit. A great place for adult and kids. Very intresting. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We all look forward to going again.
There was lots of things to do to keep the kids entertained for a couple of hours. Some neat exhibits and things to try.
They can do a better job of making sure things are working, there were several things that were not working or broken
What a wonderful interactive centre. kids and adults alike will find something to see and do here. hands on touching and participation is encouraged - strongly recommend
Loved the science centre!! Lots of different exhibits and well laid out. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon!
There is just so much to see and do here and I love the gift shop where I can buy things for the grandkids.
Getting into this place was pretty expensive, but well worth it I think as we could have spent the entire day if we had arrived earlier. My kid was amazed and had a blast! From the adult perspective, it is pretty run down and it wouldn't take too much effort to fix it up - and those high entrance fees... more
The Sask Science Centre was modeled on the best aspects of its predecessors and sources of inspiration; the Deutches Museum in Munich, the Exploratorium in San Francisco, and the Ontario Science Museum in Toronto. It emphasizes hands-on exhibits and fosters understanding, curiosity and imagination on the part of visitors, especially school children.
I had fun considering I'm 37 years old and didn't go to the centre with children. Just wanted to do something a little different than go see a movie. I had many trips to similiar when I was a child and had fun. Worth the trip.
When this centre first opened it was amazing, however it seems that there has been no upkeep or updating since that time. I have not been there for over a year, maybe they have fixed the working displays, painted and cleaned floors. The little shop is nice and the cafe attached is really nice.
Grandchildren from Switzerland visited the Centre and really had a lot of fun. Very interesting for all ages.
So many exhibits are not in working order. It has changed very little in the last 10 years. They needed to have more shows running. The place was almost empty and we could see why. The climbing wall wasn't open. We had a membership there when our kids were little and it was very good for the first few years,... more
Always great displays. Make changes throughout the year. A great place to take your child or grandchild. See their faces light up with excitement and wonder.
very interesting displays. Hands on activity for your children and yourself. The I max is also in the science center with some very good and educational films to be seen.
The Saskatchewan Science Centre is a perfect place for families to have a truly enjoyable experience when in the city of Regina. The science center offers many interesting options.
