great place for families
this place is so much fun and you can really let the kids run loose here - enjoy the live science shows
Lots of fun!
Lots of fun! and lots to do! Very interesting exhibits, changing often. Friendly staff.

A must place to visit in regina
May 27, 2014My two youngest grandchildren ages three and six came visiting from Toronto. We, (both sets of grandparents) accompanied them to the Science Centre. The first stop was with the dinosaurs. needs upgrade

Nice Time for the Kids

The Science Museum is a hands on museum for kids. It is nicely done with some good interactive stations. It also has some agriculture themed exhibits. In our last few visits, there has been some changes to the exhibits.

Great place for kids and adults alike

It's been a while since I've visited there but whenever I have gone in the past it's been great fun - kids love it and don't even realize how educational it is as well. There are also special adult nights.
It is right next door (attached) to the IMAX theatre another wonderful venue.
It's in Wascana Park which is beautiful...

March 03, 2014I took my 4 yr old grandson here for the day and it was great! It was a weekday so it was pretty empty, and he had the run of the place! Lots of interactive things for him to do, and the staff was super friendly and engaging. I plan on taking him again soon!

Hands-on fun for everyone

Customer service ruined it
January 03, 2014I've been to the Science Centre a number of times. The past trip was a disaster in regards to customer service. We had to wait 15 minutes to enter the centre because the only person on the till was "busy on the phone". Rude manners from him as we waited to get in. Nobody came and helped him as the... more

We use to go here quite often the the kids were small. It is the best place to spend an afternoon. Displays are interactive, so everybody can take a turn
Special tours bring new and interesting things to see.
Now that the kids are grown. We attend the IMAX theatre .

A good way to spend the day
October 08, 2013For the money, it was a nice place to visit. Some interesting exhibits to be sure but some of them were broken and not working. A little more maintenance would be in order. The demos were good and the staff was friendly. Overall a good way to spend some time in Regina.

What a neat experience
August 15, 2013We opted for the combo pack of imax and then the science centre. We took our little girl and she was a bit young (1 yr old) but there are plenty of things to do for those 2 and up. Great family fun
August 11, 2013Had a blast with kids aged 5,6 and 9. Lots to interest all of us. We didn't get there early enough so rushed a bit. Would be great if it stayed open until the IMAX movie started at 7pm.

good mjseum, needs updating
August 10, 2013This place is fun, the park outside is a nice touch and a highlight. Inside, they need to update much of the museum, many of the displays are the same I spent time at as a kid. The animation gallery was the best part inside of the museum.

Great activities for kids, IMAX theatre is great

The Sask Science Centre is a must see for any visitor to the city of Regina. There are continual demonstrations, and the permanent exhibits range from blowing bubbles six feet in diameter to watching bats in their enclosed habitat, in the dark.

Take the kids
August 03, 2013Wonderful, interactive experience - kids of all ages love it (including grandma and grandpa). One part of exhibit changes regularly; but much of it continues, and our grandson thinks that is wonderful. We kept a family pass for whenever the grandchildren were visiting.

April 21, 2013It was okay for the kids and good for adults to walk around. But it should be less expensive for a family and may be only allow up to a certain number when its too busy to control the crowds. Have a coffee shop for adults or to wait for people.

November 11, 2012When this centre first opened it was amazing, however it seems that there has been no upkeep or updating since that time. I have not been there for over a year, maybe they have fixed the working displays, painted and cleaned floors. The little shop is nice and the cafe attached is really nice.
