We have wanted to dine at Santorini's for some time, it is on the opposite side of the city from where we live, however our daughter and her fiance just moved into the area. We chose Santorini's to celebrate their engagement...what a perfect choice. We could walk there, enjoy their fabulous food and great Greek wine! Highly recommend it!

The food was quite expensive, even for Greek restaurant standards in Calgary. Their specialties (fried cheese appy and roast lamb main) were way overpriced, and wasn't anything special. Portions were small and the side items (veggies and rice) were soggy and soft.Especially disappointing was the "Seafood Platter". My husband and I had a very enjoyable evening. There were only three other tables there the entire time we were there, so it was nice and quiet. Food - amazing! We had the 'Taverna Special' - can't go wrong. Lots of food as well, we were getting full after the appetizers. The waiter was great. The most authentic Greek cuisine I've had since eating in Santorini itself. AMAZING!! Portions were just the right size, we left feeling satisified, and not over-full like most restaurant that pile the food on the plate. I'll come back time and time again.

$8.50 f0r two spanokipitas was very overpriced and not worth it!! The meals were O.k. but not great... the vegetables were horrible.

Was one of our favorites for years. Now they do not seem to try that hard. Portions are smaller, calamari is dreadful, service is mediocre, wine list is awful. Despite reservations seating in front of the bar in the middle of the traffic-way. In the future we will try other Greek place for the first time ever.

The service is amazing. Very attentive. I go there every couple of months. The appetizers are wonderful. We had the calamaria, mussels, saganaki (which is to die for) and the hot appetizer platter. The platter was just okay. Next time I would just order the individual appetizers.

Very reliable food and service. Portions are large and drink pours generous. The green bean side on each plate could use a bit of an improvement but all the important parts of meals are done well- seafood perfectly cooked, lamb as well. Restaurant layout a little awkward in terms of privacy and maneuvering around, but warm and welcoming.

The entire meal was great. The server was good but none of the wait staff looked happy. Sooo Good!

Still in awe . . . started with satziki and pita bread. The sizzling pan fried cheese (Saganaki) became a battle to see whose fork came in first. The combination platter for two fed three of us (all ladies), the moussaka was was delightful, the lemon roasted potatoes divine. The staff were friendly. The belly dancer was only there for a very short while (Saturday night).

Best in Town

We have been to every Greek restaurant in town and Santorini's is by far the most consistant when it comes to food and service. The Cypriot way of preparing lamb cant be beat. Best Kleftiko, Brizoles and Calamari there is. This place is lots of fun on the weekends.

Never Disappoints

This restaurant is consistently good... the food, the service, the ambience. I've never had a bad dish, and never left hungry. Reasonably priced and very tasty. Not the best Greek food in the world, however will not disappoint.

A tradition in Calgary for traditional Greek dining, and for good reason. Well prepared standards served in a nice setting with a friendly staff.

The atmosphere of this place is fun and welcoming, the food tasted amazing and I recommend it for anyone who is interested in experiencing real Greek food.

I cannot remember what the dish I had was called but it was good. It was some kind of pasta pie. The hummus was really good, better than most. I would eat at Santorini before I would eat at any of the other comparable greek restaurants in Calgary.
