Room was clean and comfortable. It was facing the golf course and a view of the area was very nice. Quiet not a lot of plane noises. Good outdoor parking...safe for female travellers. Staff very helpful. Recommend it over some of the bigger name hotels in the area

Shuttle bus arrived in minutes !

Short but sweet, everything was absolutely fine. Check in was very quick and the room was extremely comfortable. We had a 05.30 pickup and the shuttle bus was early and we left on time and we were at Terminal 1 in less than 10 minutes.

king suite

my room smelled like smoke and i had to get a new room, they didn't have any left of the same suite so i got downgraded. the toilet made a dripping sound and my hair dryer didn't work. i was also disappointed in the amount of towels they gave and the small bottle of shampoo and conditioner wasn't enough

Hotel carpet was not clean, frayed and stained in several places. Tv remote did not work took several calls and waiting in excess of an hour to get new one. Bed sheets had grease like stains on one of the bed like they were washed with a Vaseline like grease substance. Will not stay there again.

Could see the planes but couldn't hear them!

Nice rooms, comfy beds. We had arranged a wake up call and shuttle service to the airport at check in. Was disappointed when the wake up call never came. Without the forethought of setting an alarm, we would have missed our flights. The front desk attendant the following morning was rude and not very helpful.

Comfortable for the most part....air conditioner was coooold, then off so stifling. Very slow room service and personal service from Moxies Restaurant downstairs. You get nothing...you have to pay for everything including breakfast, parking, in addition to a fee/deposit charged daily to your card. I hate there was no fridge in the room. Moxies was horrible

Restaurant was terrible. Worst service ever. 25 minutes before someone took our order. Kids meals were completely wrong and waitress did not offer to correct it. Entire experience was worst I have ever had in a restaurant. Pool area was dirty, towels all over deck, puddles of slimy cold water like no one had ever mopped the deck

Good hotel, close to Airport

Overall our experience was a great one, we had been on vacation traveling around Ontario and needed a hotel to regroup and refresh prior to flying home the next day... the Sandman was the perfoect choice, close to the Airport and nice clean rooms with space for the whole family..

Great stay!

Overall the hotel was great! I booked it with my visa/debit card and don't have an actual credit card. You need a credit card for them to keep on file for deposit on nonsmoking rooms or a $250 deposit. I have booked hotels before without needing a credit card before. Other than that, the hotel was beautiful and the pool was very clean!

Bad ... Got woke up from fire alarm at 6:30 am... Staff did not care .... I had to walk up the 9 floor with my 3 yrs old daughter

nice hotel - clsoe to the Airport & all major Hwys

our overall experience on our 2nd stay was pleasant...only issue was with getting pool towels in a timely manner...on the 2nd evening we requested towels from the front desk and went to the pool - waited over an hour and no one came so we had to drip all the way to our room on the 5th floor. Perfect Airport Hotel

They were ready for us when we arrived we were given a suit we had only booked a room. The Hot tub and pool helped for a nice relaxing stay. the Staff were great and the shuttle bus to the airport worked out very well.well done.

Pretty good until we couldn't shower

The hotel itself is very nice and in a good location. The room was very clean but dated. The carpets were showing wear and the water pump blew so we weren't able to use the shower. The staff were apologetic and even offered us the use of another room to use the shower.

Relaxing, enjoyed dining at Moxi's Restaurant. Conveniently located for business purposes. Friendly staff and overall a good facility with ample amenities.

Not very impressed, the name leads you to think of higher end but not the case. The staff was very nice but the shower backed up, the carpet was loose on the floor and neither the internet or coffee maker worked.

Easy drive from Pearson, with a shuttle service, large parking, clean and large rooms, right on top of an open-late Moxies(good for a Canadian chain). Polite staff. I would see no reason to look further for an airport hotel in Toronto.

Recommended to us by our travel agent this was our first experience with the Sandman chain. Room was upgraded to King Suite with kitchen. Everything was clean and neat. Excellent hotel. Stayed in corporate executive suite. Had fridge, stove washing machine. Beautiful balcony with view over golf course and enjoyed watching planes landing. Would recommend this hotel 100%. Great value. Front desk was very accommodating with request for late check out.

Friendly Staff

Here on business workshop. All of the staff here were very friendly. Everywhere I would go no one neglected to go out of their way to assist. Housekeeping staff would drop everything and run to help you carry something,give directions or simply stop and smile. Others complained that the mattresses were not so comfortable, I didn't notice.

The hotel was good and the staff were friendly. The free shuttle from the airport took some time and patience but in the end worked out OK. We would use this hotel again for the one night stop-over on our way to or from somewhere else.

The Sandman Signature is a good location and reasonable hotel for business travel. The Free WiFi is not good, difficult to complete emails when in the room.I was surprised on check-out to be charged $12 per day for parking... no mention of this at check-in and it is a large open, uncovered parking lot. A quick revenue grab.

Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean and well lit. Remote for TV didn't work very well - perhaps needed new batteries. Bed was very comfortable. Shuttle service to airport was on time and made travel easier.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sandman because it was a good price and close to the airport. I called for the hotel shuttle service and was told he was there already so we scrambled to find the shuttle (which was a van, not a bus) but it was full. No big deal. Modern and so comfortable

The staff were friendly from the moment I arrived. I love the fact that they serve food until 2 am. The beds were just divine. I love the big fluffy down comforters. The hotel is located in an area with lots of nearby hotels, so the airport hotel area was easy to find. I sat in the hot tub which I rarely do on short trips, which started my day out right.

The hotel is very comfortable and a convenient location if you need to be close to the airport. The staff are very professional and efficient. The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant "Moxies" located at the hotel is also a plus. The breakfast is excellent!

The hotel is furnished with modern appointments. The restaurant in the lobby (Moxie's) is very good and moderately priced. Service at the hotel was a little spotty. No one was at the front desk for over 3 minutes when we arrived. Overall, a good value.

I booked the Sandman after staying at a high end hotel downtown that had poor service bad food and expensive internet service. The Sandman addressed ALL of these issues and the food and the bar was a hot spot. A very pleasant stay as a layover between flights. Excellent transportation back and forth. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom a good size. Pool small but clean and without chlorine fumes, as it is salt water. Will definitely stay again and may explore branches in other cities as well.

Recommended as good overnight before a flight. The park and fly feature is very handy and fair priced. Rooms are well decorated, lobby and common areas are so-so. A convention of teens was there when we stayed. Noise was not a problem in our room - a tribute to modern sound insulation design! No surprises. Beats Holiday Inn or similar.

Clean room and clean look, very contemporary beige/brown decor (I hate carpeting with big flowers and things like that). Fast internet connection, wired in the room, wireless in the restaurant downstairs. Nice, well-equipped fitness room (open 6am-11pm). Free parking, convenient to 401 freeway. Surprisingly quiet given proximity to airport. Friendly staff. Free apples !

Where is the pool

Excellent value for a brand new hotel. We came before the grand opening, so there were a lot of workers around, and the pool was not available. But our stay was not affected at all. The hotel employees were all very courteous, greeting you whenever they see you. Definitely recommend it to other travelers

The Sandman Signature hotel was a very nice, trendy hotel with modern decor and features including flat screen TV's. The lobby and the restaraunt were also up to par. Minutes from the airport but also very close to some major roads and highways going into Toronto. I will stay there again, and the pool should be ready by then!

We had a very nice room. The beds were very comfortable along with the pillows. They were the most comfortable pillows I ever slept on. Everything was very clean.

At my stay, this hotel is partly open with some floors and the pool still under contruction. Rooms were extremely nice, comfortable and good business workspace.
