Along Hwy. 97 west of downtown, the inn offers large, comfortable guest rooms including one- and two-bedroom suites. Kitchenettes and wheelchair-accessible units are available. A 24-hour Denny's restaurant is on-site. For a comfortable room that avoids downtown, this is a good choice.

We have stayed at the hotel on centre street on many occasions and have always had excellent service to include in the restaurant. The rooms are very nice as they were recently renovated.

Great place to stay. I stayed in one of the "suites" for a very resonable price. Clean, modern and spacious rooms. Had a great sleep. Very quiet too.

I don't even know where to start on how bad this was. From being lied to about room availability, to being given a double bed instead of a King,and upon mildly pointing this out, being told that it IS a King. Spare me, I know the difference. I don't really care and don't need the extra room, but you are charging me for it.

The modern look of the front lobby belies the fact that the hotel is in a very sketchy area of town. Next door to the hotel are apartments that can only be described as low rent. I was given the wrong room- due to a mistake by the front desk during booking...I decided to give the place the benefit of the doubt for the night. Do not stay here – it sucks! We stayed here twice in our travels - we should have learned the first time. We choose the Sandman because it was within walking distance to the College of New Caledonia where our son was. The first time we booked a suite. May 11, 2008We only stayed for 1 night and were quite satisfied with the accomodations. Rooms were clean and comfortable if somewhat plain and the only negative was the extremely small bathroom where it was difficult to get in the room and then close the door.
