Great location.

We stayed in the executive tower. The bed was very comfortable and I especially enjoyed the soaker tub. Shopping mall across the street and easy access to the wineries made enjoying all Kelowna has to offer very easy. Breakfast anytime I wanted it at the 24 hour Denny's. The staff were friendly,courteous and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

A Great Stay

This is the third or fourth time I have stayed at this Sandman and it was another great experience. Service was fantastic - upgraded to a suite because my first room was in the middle of a boys baseball team. The gym and pool are awesome and the restaurant(s) are great and well priced. It is central to everything in Kelowna and i would stay there again.

Thin walls. Noisy halls.

Thin walls. I was by the pop/snack/ice machine and hallway noise was an issue. Also upon check in we had to wait almost 20 minutes while they sorted out the reservations. Would have been nice to be provided a room to settle into while they sorted out the details.

Great Hotel!

Horrible horrible stay

I have never some across such a miserable and rude front desk. The key cards did not last more than 4 hours the room stunk, the air con was loud and did not work effectively. The WIFI was bad. I will never stay at this hotel. I ususally stay at the Elderodo...so mad I did not this trip!

We were up in Canada, Kelowna, for a bike rally. We stayed at the Sandman, it was great. Deny's restaurant attached and the CHOP steak house also same property. So much to see in the Kelowna area for motorcycle riding. We could not have had a better weekend!

Stayed here recently on a business trip and would certainly not choose it again--very basic amenities; poor housekeeping service and with next to non-existent internet. Perhaps the rooms in the tower are nicer but the room I was staying in fronted the parking lot and offered no privacy whatsoever.

Clean Small Room, well priced

This hotel is in a good location. Across from Orchard Park Mall, with many dining options available nearby. Downtown is only minutes away by vehicle. The rooms are clean and come with mini-fridge and microwave. Amenities include a pool and hottub. Just like home

We went out there for our son's wedding and had quite a few relatives over to our suite for pre- wedding and post wedding parties and felt that our room was perfect with a great kitchen and lots of room for entertaining. Close to the mall, that is about it

This hotel is poorly set up. It was a maze everytime we wanted to get to our room. First we were put into a single bed room when we booked a double bed room. Fabulously Surprised!

We ended up doing a $15 per night upgrade when we got to the hotel and this put us in the newly renovated tower. We were fabulously surprised at how beautiful the room was! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 days, but didn't get any time to check out the indoor pool. Lots of restaurants close by too!

I read lots of people say ask for the tower. It all depends what you like. The rooms not in the tower surround the indoor pool.
So if you have children, it might be a good idea not to stay in the tower so you can keep an eye on the kids.

Got a spacious room off expedia

When first coming into the hotel, we thought it was alright. But the room was awesome. It was definitely worth it, unlike a lot of other places. We had a car so it wasn't really a problem that it was further away from the beaches.

Two Sides

I would recommend the New tower of the Kelowna Sandman but, not the original building. The original building the rooms were in very rough condition. Housekeeping was very poor, no maid service one day, even after we had complained. I would not stay there again.

relax in city center

The hotel staffs are nice and very helpful, and the hotel location is just close to every where. Unfortunately we book online, and we get a room in a low rise part of the hotel, but actually there is a high rise ones that probably much better than the room we stayed. In this part of the hotel, there is no elevator, so to bring a baby in a stroller is so difficult.

Easily accessible to the beautiful downtown area.It was very helpful and convenient having a mall across the street, as well as, lots of restaurant and fast food choices within walking distance. It was an easy drive to Quail's Gate and Mission Hill Wineries, and only 10 minutes from the airport.

I was just at the hotel over night i wasn't planning on staying in a hotel but i need a place to sleep, the staff was very helpfull and friendly. They got me checked in and checked out quickly and efficently. The only complaint i had was that the room was a little noisy cause it was on the ground level near the parking lot. and the room didn;t smell super fresh.
