Cozy and Friendly
June 12, 2014Cozy gem of a restaurant in Lacombe. Reasonably priced eclectic albeit short wine list. Limited selection menu caters to many tastes. Amazing salmon salad with creative combination of ingredients dressing. Niche South African dishes that are delightful. The pudding for dessert was delectable. The service is personable and friendly. Spur of the moment decision was an excellent one

We were camping and decided to go for supper before a movie.
On a whim we picked Salt.
Food was delicious, atmosphere was very relaxing and the chef was extremely pleasant.
We took a quick tour of the heritage house. Liked the different rooms for dining.
We'll definitely return when we're in the area.

Disappointing, but has potential

My Wife and I decided to try Salt for a date night. We entered and were greeted and seated promptly, the decore is warm and the staff friendly. Our server was new and it showed, but she was pleasant enough.
We ordered some appetizers, (Lamb Sliders and Spring Rolls) which came quickly and were pretty good. The entrees took forever....
