A restored villa that is over 100 years old. Wonderfully furnished with antique and more modern art. Overlooks the bay. Five deer were grazing in the woods next to the property. Very comfortable beds. Flat screen TV. Has an award-winning, up-scale restaurant on the main floor; they have their own garden in back. Reservations are highly recommended for the restaurant.
Stayed for one night. Room was very comfortable. Air was one of the ductless units and is very quiet. Grounds are beautiful. Pool area was very relaxing. Took a hike up the mountain on the carriage path. Great views and a lot of neat history. Had dinner. It was one of the best meals we had on our trip. Staff was very helpful and atentive, I would highly recommend this facility.
beautiful setting, hotel very well appointed.great dining experience.nice staff.our friends were very pleased with our choice
we should have been warned about the difficulty of climbing stairs.
We especially enjoyed the beautiful view of the Bay of Fundy and the trail up to the top of the mountain on their property. The views from the top are breathtaking!
Overall very good place to stay, with close proximity to St. Andrews attractions. Having a pool near the front lobby was nice.
Dinner at the Rossmount is the best I have eaten in NB since the last time I was there last year. A must - do.
Very comfortable hotel. Didn't have time to take advantage of the pool, but it looked beautiful. The food (by Chef Chris Aerni) was incredible and the staff were very accommodating to food allergies which made it a very relaxing meal. All in all, it was a great place to stay.
This was the second visit will be going there again next year while in N.B. the real draw is the food. It is first class!!!
Excellent dinner at NB's top restaurant. Excellent service. First time stay at the Inn. Relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are small like most inns of this vintage but very well maintained with new features like flat screen tv, free wifi and ductless a.c..
we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Please note that they are known for their dining. We didn't know that and consequently did not make plans to eat there. I think we missed out on something special. The deck is beautiful!
We found this place on Expedia for a very good price and stayed their with our two kids. The Inn is not on the ocean but is a few km from St Andrews in a lovely area. The Inn is a beautiful old converted mansion with an outdoor pool and lounging area, big porch and wonderful ambiance. Our room was small and the bathrooms very tight (cramped and plainly decorated given the rest of the Inn.) and... more
We loved the Inn and its interesting architecture and the care taken with the decor. Our room was small but nice with a great view and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool area and the front porch after a hot day of sightseeing. The highlight was the dinner we had - a superbly unusual pairing of food and flavors. Absolutely wonderful. Staff was very welcoming and... more
A lovely building, but it's old and the floors creak. You can hear every time someone about you walks. Also, there was no coffee maker in the room and no complementary breakfast. On a positive note: The people in the office couldn't have been more helpful.
Beautiful old style hotel. Everything inside and out is beautiful. However there are like 40 steep stairs to get between the remote parking and the front door. The rooms are up more stairs. Not good with luggage. No staff help.
Great food and service.nice grounds.very comfortable .
Quiet country setting, nice pool and deck, restaurant and bar
We really enjoyed our overnight stay with a group of 10 of us on motorcycles. The service was very good, the food was amazing and the location was just beautiful. It turned out to be a great pick!
Great place to stay on our way to our next destination. Fantastic food!!!
We had a pleasant stay at this timeworn hotel. The staff is very polite and accommodating. We only regret we could not enjoy the breakfast as they do not serve before 8 am and we had a tee time conflict.
Exquisitely decorated and maintained, and extremely comfortable. The property is so beautiful with a lovely garden to look out onto. The pool patio is very nice with lots of comfortable couches and seating. The food is incredible in the dining room and they use fresh ingredients from the garden out back! It's a 5 minute drive into the wonderful town of St Andrews where there are fabulous shops... more
Nice room with a very comfortable bed. Nice property with an elevated view from the deck. My schedule did not allow me to partake in the award winning cuisine but it sure smelled good. Friendly staff. The inn is built entirely from wood so it is not as soundproof as some may desire.
Wonderful building, friendly staff, great food and gorgeous rooms. A little out of the centre of St Andrews but this is fine. Would certainly stay again and definitely recommend this wonderful place.
This Inn was fabulous! The old charm and decor were so incredible. The rooms are small but well laid out. Down town St Andrews is 8 minutes away. The pool area is so nice and lots of spaces to sit and chat after dinner. The restaurant was nice but very pricey with a limited menu. Breakfast was two choices only so we are in town. We really enjoyed our stay here!
Our stay was most pleasing. Owners were very accommodating. Meal at the inn was fabulous. Nice treat for us on our journey. It is an inn -, not a hotel- so must realize this. NIce house.
good service ,food very good.Nothing more to say, all excellent.
Hosts are friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. Superb dinners, interesting local art, and a walk to the best place to view the surroundings from the back of the property.
We were so impressed with this hotel.Truly the management cater to perfection. The rooms were so spotless, comfortable beds and friendly staff.
Excellent Inn with old fashioned charm and modern amenities. Amazing food and relaxing rural inn made the Rossmount Inn an excellent choice for a recharging getaway!
We reserved at last minute and were very pleasantly surprised at the Rossmount Inn. It was a beautiful, but updated old inn. The staff were super and even left coffee for us in the morning because we were leaving before breakfast. Would highly recommend!
Very well run and a wonderful dining room with one of the best meals I have had in a long time.
The service was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only negative comment was the small bathroom with no storage space or even horizontal surfaces to put your toiletry bag.
Very nice older style inn to stay for a night or a week--with beautiful surroundings and short drive into historic town. Only downside for some might be climbing stairs to guest room--at least they're wide and not steep.
We were pleasantly surpised with the charm of the Inn, and had an amazing dinner in their dining room. Our stay was short and as the weather was wet and cold we did not use the inviting looking pool and deck area. The view was nice and the Inn is close to St Andrews and all it has to offer. The friendly accomodating staff makes this Inn special.
Would have liked better breakfast timing and better availability of ice. Hard to find. Very peaceful. Supposed to have some of the best food for dinner, but I did not have time to partake. Reasonable rates.
A perfect stop after a day of golf at the algonquin course. The most incredible dining I have had in this province! A must do!
It was a nice place to stay , Would not remommend a stay when a dinner party is taking place. Very noisey when trying to sleep.
Nice old property with gorgeous outside pool area. There was a dead bug, it looked like a roach, on the carpet in my room that I noticed upon entering. It's good that it was dead but it still made me uncomfortable. It also was a bit of a turnoff that the breakfast cost extra, even for a continental version. Overall okay but I'm not sure if I'd stay here again without trying a rival first.
Nice bldg, friendly staff, bed so-so. Difficult to get suitcases through the main entrance door.
Just outside of town, the Inn is very quiet with a lovely pool area. The highlight is the restaurant as the chef/owner is fabulous. Make your dinner reservations early!
The Rossmount Inn is a charming place, set in a beautiful location. The owners, Chris and Graziella, were unfailing professional and gracious. The food was also superb. I highly recommend this hotel.
My husband, young daughter, and I found our stay at the Rossmount Inn to be comfortable and enjoyable. We appreciated the fine art and antiques that were displayed throughout, as well as the comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Our room afforded us a lovely view of the surrounding scenery and the pool, and the AC unit was quiet and worked well. Dinner was as wonderful as we were led to believe... more
Make sure you book the restaurant two weeks before your stay.
The Rossmount Inn was like stepping back in time with all the beautiful wood trim and old character. The building and grounds were very well maintained and the rooms very clean. Staff was wonderful and the food in the restaurant was very good. Will stay there again if in the area.
