If you love organic, kids, and pizza-in that order-then this mini-chain is for you. The rub is that if you are childless or think this whole save-the-earth thing is overrated, then shelling out $23.50 for a 13-inch Parma ham and mango pizza might not sit well. But grow a heart: the new Main Street location features an open room where you can watch your flatbread be created, plus an... more

Brilliant, ethical, good value restaurant
August 17, 2014

The food is amazing, especially the herd and avocado salad (though all of it is very good) and I love the ethical ethos of the restaurant - it really lives up to the values if professes.
It is good for lunch and supper, though lunch is more for family fun as children can make their own pizzas (so can adults... more

With a rumble in our tummies, we returned for another flavour-filled adventure. HAD TO HAVE the bruschetta to tide us over 'til the main event! even got a kiddie corner, which I haven't seen in looong time. This was a great help for our kids ( 4 and 6) to stay put while waiting for their pizza. I usually do not like Sangria, but I seep it from my husband and is the best I ever had. The gluten free option for pizzas is excellent.

February 02, 2014

We had lunch at the Rocky Mountain Flatbread Company on Main Street last week. While the Flatbread Company is a more traditional looking restaurant than the cafe and bakery called Trafiq half a block away, the latter was quite a bit busier at lunchtime. September 23, 2013

We are 100% vegetarian. On searching we came across Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co. , which makes food from Organically grown ingredients. Sounded good and believe me it was more than it sounded. Good pizza but nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary
August 25, 2013

While our pizza (pepperoni with shaved onions, crimini mushrooms, roma tomatoes) was very good, the rest of the meal was average at best. I walked by this restaurant a couple of times and decided to give it a try. The place is VERY kid friendly, leaning towards " if you don't have kids and don't want to hear them scream, don't go" type of place. All the food is organic and mostly local. They have a great selection of pizzas, pasta and calzones. We took a large pizza, half procciutto and mangos and half sundried tomatoes.. IT WAS... more

I've been here several times now and this will be my first review.  The pizza was fantastic.  I've never had a bad pizza here.  The crust I've always has is thin and crisp not tough and not too doughy.  It is not over sauced and the ingredients taste fresh as well.  The salads have always been good as well.  Fresh seasonal salads with excellent flavor.  The desert listed was a peach raspberry... more

nice dinner with family

After a long day of playing in Vancouver we were very happy to find this very pleasant restaurant for dinner. The pizza and appetizers were tasty and the service was excellent - plus we had patio seating and the weather was perfect. It wasn't the best pizza I've had but it was pretty tasty. It's a nice bonus that they... more

We came here for dinner for a change of pace from many of the amazing pan-asian seafood treats in Vancouver.  We were sorely disappointed.Service:  1 star.   Despite a reservation, we were left unnoticed for at least 15 minutes while other guests were being served.  Food:  3 star.  Pizza dough tasteless.  A little bit of salt can go a long way.  Ingredients are fresh.Atmosphere:  3 star.  Good... more

I go here for lunch sometimes if i'm around the area. the pizza is good, the salad is good, but the wine is pretty expensive...around $10+ for a glass for lunch. You won't find anything mind-blowing here but I still like it. Maybe because everything is local ingredients. I'm always a fan of that.

This is the pizza place that every neighborhood should wish to have. It uses organic ingredients from the local community gardens and it donates a percentage of profits to the school down the block. It supports sustainable farming and it makes really tasty wood-fired brick oven pizza. I mean, flat bread. There are some other menu items I need to get around to trying like lasagna and more of the... more

The only thing about this restaurant that disappointed me was that I hadn't discovered it earlier! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly host. Then our waiter was so adorable I wanted to take him home with me! He had the sweetest smile and dimples. Maybe that organic, good-for-you food that they serve makes them happy people? It's great that they support local produce,... more

I was in Maui and tried a very similar flatbread pizza company there and loved it. Very similar to real Italian pizza from Naples. So I had to try once I returned to Vancouver. The pizza is oven backed and very healthy, meaning no added c@!p.  It's backed in a wood oven and you can tell people take pride in making this pizza for their customers. I tried the organic goat cheese and sundried... more

Nothing all that special about the pizza. Yes, they have a lot of types of pizzas, but none of them are really all that different, nor are they that good. And, the salads are super boring. The only time I was there I went with 7 people and 5 felt ill a few hours after dinner. Not the best sign, especially where something simple like pizza is concerned. I would much prefer to make the drive out... more

I have to admit that I'm a little hesitant to give this place a full 5 stars. The pizza is pretty good, especially if you're a gourmet looking to feel good about your food. The toppings are tops. I had pizza with ground buffalo, spinach, and caramelized onions. The onions were succulent and the spinach seemed pretty fresh (as I would hope, given all the pictures of local urban farmers on the... more

With a plethora of mediocre pizzerias on offer, why would you choose a place that serves organic homemade dough? Really. With the freshest ingredients topping these delicious flatbreads, it's a wonder that people continue to frequent those bad 99 cent-type places. They serve salads, soups and appetizers too. They also have a selection of frozen products should you wan to re-create the Rocky... more

Actually, if I could I'd give this restaurant more than five stars!  This is the pizza place that does everything right.  They emphasize organic and natural ingredients, freshness and they even care about contributing to the local community with events and donations.  Even if this place didn't have a social conscience, their pizza would be exemplary.  I'm wildly in love with the parma which has... more
