Lovely place, great food

I love this restaurant. Been there at lest 4 times. The food is excellent and the menu changes frequently. The ambiance is fantastic, small bistro style. The service is excellent. The bar mixologist is very nice, helpful with your selection of drinks and is quite nice. The food will not disappoint. Will go back again and again.

Nighmare Desert Experience

I'll get right to the point. Capuccino was served warm'ish. Cheesecake was not cheesecake. When I failed to eat it the foodie server advised me it was "Japanese" cheesecake. We were five; our table wasn't ready upon arrival but they very quickly cleaned up from the previous diners and sat us down. The waiter was friendly and efficient, if a bit naive. My Life is Food

It is always a treat to have made to order beignets anywhere but I found these a bit dense. I thoroughly enjoyed the "dipping" sauce that accompanied the doughnuts.

Best burger ever!

The naturally raised beef burger was by far the best burger I've ever had. It literally melts in your mouth!

Vibrant atmosphere and great food

Our group of three met at the Harbord Room for a casual get together over dinner. The place has an energetic, youthful vibe accompanied by pleasant staff and great food. Our expanded dinner group has reserved for a follow up dinner for six. Highly recommended.

We had a horrible experience at Harbord Room. I heard they have interesting cocktails and have always enjoyed my experiences at other restaurants on Harbord street so I eagerly suggested we give this place a try. A perfect example of not judging a book by its cover: the best part of the harbord room is the appealing website.
It is a flawed dining establishment that hasn't defined what it wants to be. Bistro fare and small portions. Intimate setting with rude service. Large on description short on ingredients.

This place is delightful. The pink interior, beautiful high top seating, great bistro menu, delicious wine list and fine looking waitstaff make this place a fine choice for a lovely night out . Way overrated, rushed service and too loud. I eat out alot so I'm not being difficult. My burger had a texture that me and my partner both agreed was off. Not only was it way undercooked but there was something dark about the flavor. Odd, considering their burger is supposed to be one of the best. We had the chocolate tart for dessert which was very ordinary.

Ruined my birthday. After trying three times to make a reservation, the fourth time I left them a voicemail and they called me back. Made s confirmed booking. On the day, called to see iv we could move if up by 30 mins and were told no reservation existed. Unforgivably incompetent, so makes me wonder if their kitchen is as careless.

The food is incredible! I have been to the Harbord Room twice now and have fallen in love! I have tried the Roast Natural Chicken Breast and House Made Sausage, the chicken has a slightly crispy top that melts in your mouth and the sausage really is made in house.
