Trop bon resto!!
Excellent resto, le service était impeccable également. Les plats sont très bien apprêtés, j’ai pris la casserole de fruits de mer (homard, crevettes, pétoncles et moules qui baignent dans la bisque de homard…..!!) et mon chum a pris le steak et frites, nous avons adoré!!
Belle ambiance et intéressante variété de plats
Je suis venue souper avec mon conjoint. Coup de coeur pour le jarret d'agneau qui était délicieux. Le serveur était très attentionné en plus d'une ambiance conviviale. Je vais sûrement y retourner avec mes enfants!

This place is disgusting and the worst food you will ever taste .The staff are worse then the food , took over 15 mins to get served, we ordered the meat trio , spaghetti bolognaise ,the calamari and mussels , everything was horrible , the meat tasted frozen ,the vegetables old ,the calamari was soggy the mussels were just awful .My kids ALL had stomach aches after we left .PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a tourist restaurant. The food is not good and the service is below average. On the upside, the price is reasonable - for very below average food in a tourist location.

This restaurant is a poor tourist trap. If you want Italian food, go up to Little Italy--almost anyplace there will outclass this place, as well as give you more value for the money. I had the cheese tortellini, which was fine, if a bit overboiled. A bad sign is that during slow times, a waiter stands near the entrance and touts to passersby. excellent restaurant romantique,tranquille,la cuisine tres bonne, le serveur Hakim toujour souriant et courtois,je vais regulierement,le patron Fouad aussi tres sympatique laisser vous tenter vous aussi vous y retournerez souvent felicitation au restaurant le senateur

Excellent restaurant à tout point de vue. Accueil courtois et même très galant par notre serveur Hakim. Une ambiance agréable avec un beau choix de musique. Un bon choix de menu. Nous étions trois. Trois choix différents et tous satisfaits. Tout cela à un prix très abordable pour le Vieux-Port. Une très belle découverte pour nous. Nous y retournerons c'est sûr.

01 septembre 2013The food itself is excellent. Everything else was excellent too except the waiter gave our shrimp cocktail to another table, but he was still pretty fast and friendly. The pasta was cooked al Dante. The rib eye steak was done extremely well too (med rare). Recommend this over any other restaurant in old montreal. My husband and I have tried... plus

Fair food, good location, but takes tourists for granted
03 septembre 2011The food was mostly decent, though not as impressive as its billing, and the atmosphere was pleasant, but the service was not prompt, and we were dismayed when we were charged a full dinner fare for our 9-year-old's pasta and cheese. Great food and great location
17 août 2011We spent an evening in Old Montreal and wanted to dine on a terrace. We chose the Senatore because it wasn't too crowded, they had only a few tables outside and the weather was perfect for that. The food was great, the service was very good, people were friendly and we enjoyed our evening.
