We actually had our wedding reception at l'Ambroisie. The service, the food, the location, it was marvelous.

The owner took the time to sit with us during the tasting prior to the actual wedding date. All our requests were met and even surpassed.

My husband and I just had a nice simple lunch at this place. It's located in the historic Château St. Ambroise (chateaustambroise.ca/en/…), next to Lachine canal, cross from Aubut. It seems like most of the clients are from the offices inside the building. They open long hours - Breakfast to dinner with full bar. They serve decent good value food - reasonable price for very good size portion... plus

Reasonable priced French

Oh what a divine experience! Our last dinner was held at l’Ambroisie, a French cuisine restaurant tucked away in the industrial/gentrified part of Petit Bourgone, close to the Lachine Canal. It really is a hidden jewel…some having been lost for over 1hr before finding it lol. But so worth the effort of finding it.

Hidden gem in the city

An incredible find. This restaurant has everything you want in fine dining with casual prices. The TDH was mostly under $30. The food was INCREDIBLE. The atmosphere is UNBELIEVABLY GORGEOUS.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful place. Everyone must experience it for themselves. We were a group of over 80 that took over the whole place. Unbelievably the service was still completely... plus
