If you are looking for a nice, chic restaurant with outstanding food and ambiance, this isn't it.
What it is is a simple BYOB with good food at an excellent price. For less than $20 per person, you can enjoy a nice starter and a good meal. Add a good bottle of wine from the SAQ and you are getting an amazing deal.
The closest you'll get to Little Italy south of Jean-Talon. Think red and white checkered tablecloths and wicker baskets of warm, soft bread. This cozy, classic Italian BYOB restaurant is a good lil\ cheapie place in the Plateau for heaping bowls of pasta, calamari crisped to perfection, and the wonderful perk of bringing your own bottle(s) of red wine. Entrees are varied in selection and... plus
Nice cozy resto food was very good loved the linguine fruit de mer
what happened to this place. it use to be one of the best restos in town. now it's is disgusting. where do they get their cooks??? can we calll them cooks
Situé au coeur du plateau Mont-Royal, Eduardo vous propose en tout temps sa table d'hôte à prix trè... Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !
i went and eat here this sunday and i sad to say that i won´t be returning. the food was awful. we were a group of six and none of use ate. the alfredo had no taste. it seemed that they put the paste on the plate and then pored some cream on top.
This place has gone downhill! I went there recently and the food was kinda dry and the portions were smaller than usual. I guess you get what you pay for. They should really update their decor, it looks old and dirty.
Tres bonne bouffe, le service est ok le prix est fantastique 50$ tx inclu a 2 incluant la facture de la saq si j passe par la j y vais c est sur
Offering a standard italian menu, the prices are reasonable and the food is tasty, well prepared, but heavy.
Expect long line ups and close contact with other tables and servers.
Not good at all, food is horrible. The lasagna taste like can sauce and the veal Milanese is bitter, which is very weird !!!
Got here right after the long drive from Toronto. Food was delicious and service very friendly. Nothing fancy, exactly what we wanted.
I am from toronto and I visit montreal just for this restaurant
Our group of 5 ended up here after finding other places on Duluth packed to the rafters. This place was busy too — we had to wait 20-30 minutes for a table. The table we did get was not fully set, but the missing cutlery was supplied without a reminder. We waited quite a while for the waitress to take the order, and then to deliver it. Just when I had thought we’d been forgotten about, our... plus
I've been to Edwardo's twice now, and its definitely a good meal for a good price. I'd say the worst thing on the menu is the fettuccine alfredo (kind of try and pasty), but everything else is really, really good. The second time I had the Surf and Turf: a filet mignon, shrimp and pasta for $24.00. That meal anywhere else would have been over $30.Great place to go with friends and a bottle of... plus
(Ben writing in Keewi's account) It wasn't awful, but it wasn't much good. The server was friendly, but very distracted chatting with her friends, so it was hard to catch her eye. The bread was a bit burned, enough to be black in spots and taste like carbon. The linguini alla vongole came in an alfredo sauce, of all things, not the white wine sauce it's supposed to have. The clams were... plus
Went here based on Matthew A's review. The man knows what he's talking about. We had the brushetta as an appetizer. While not the best brushetta in the world (merely just chopped tomato and a little basil on the bread, no cheese), it still had enough flavor to satisfy one's mouth. It was also nice that they had a little salad in the middle of the plate, so basically you're getting two dishes... plus
I just LOVE Eduardo's!! It is a very popular bring your own wine restaurant in Montreal. It has been around for about 20 years. Come early or later as you will have to wait in line. The menu is Italian. I love that you can chose your pasta sauce: Rose, Alfredo, or classic tomato. The bread is also delicious.Located up on the Plateau, on the corner of St. Denis. Bring your wine.
I used to go there when I was a student and I was content. Went back not long ago – the calamary was way too salty and the sauce in my lasagna tasted like sea-food. Not good.
We were going there to celebrate my grandmother’s birthay. First of all, we could not make reservations(we were supposed to be 9 or 11 people). My boyfriend had to sit at the end of the table wich was straight in the hallway where all the waitresses HAD to pass. We were totally crammed in a corner. Our waitress was very nice and patient with us though. Still recommend them but try going around... plus
