Restaurant is Closed

Sadly, we tried to eat there in October 2013 only to find the restaurant was closed. Apparently, it's been closed since July.

Great food great place

This place is great - sits in a small secluded piazza - the linguine and blue lobster was terrific as were the prawns - however, the burratta in fennel? amaIng! one of the most amazing things I have tasted

Best Rack of Lamb in town

We've been to Antico many, many times and the rack of lamb is amazing AND huge (count 8 ribs). The service is great and they even have specials from time-to-time, making their diners an incredible value.

Very Expensive and so so

The location is good since there are lots of parking on side streets. The place is not crowded at all. Very few clients comes in and most of them are probably regulars. The washroom is clean and is located at the basement.

Very nice dinner, very nice place

We had a great dinner. Very good quality, very good service. This is a family run operation and really feels like that.
About at least 30/person + wine for a 3 course meal but worth it. We will be back

Very Good Food

It's in an odd location on Somerled Avenue - I suspect they might do better on Sherbrooke St. - but nevertheless the food was very good, tasty and fresh.
I found the service very good. Yes, it's a bit pricy but not overpriced for the atmosphere and food quality.

Homemade Cannelloni

From start to finnish it was a delightful dinner. Homemade fresh italian bread, still warm. Bruschetta, very flavourful and perfect portions. The canellonni was excellent. Great Italian Food

Antico Martini is a Montreal institution located on Somerled near Cavendish in NDG. It has always been one of our favorites to celebrate a special occasion. Dissapointing experience

We have ordered a couple of different dishes to explore restaurant menu (from pastas to meat dishes) and no one was trilled - basically bellow our expectations. Amazing food!!!! nicest people, amazing service, amazing atmosphere, everything at antico martini is amazing. They have supported and sponcered the ndg lynx (baseball team) They are awesome people, they have been there for the team, and any costumer who walks in.

A Disaster. We had a booking for 7.30 pm. They finally sat us down at a bare table just before 8PM. We sat there for almost half an hour before they set the table. Unfortunately we had invited friends for the evening so we could hardly decide to leave. The service was non existant. The food was only ordinary. We finally escaped at 10.30PM.

Service was snobbish. We were dressed quite informally...came from watching grandkids' hockey game. They finally seated us, even tho' there weren't many diners...then we sat and sat and sat and no one bothered to hand us a menu. When we got up to leave because of this, they became indignant. (We aren't exactly bag people...we live very nicely, thank you). Wouldn't go back.
